My Comments (355 so far…)

How many books are you reading right now?

I am writing and rereading my journals. I started writing two years ago. Figure I would write down everything and then if my daughter needs to know something about our health or our heritage it will be there for her. If I ever finish.

If you were a household appliance, what would you be?

I just watched GMA and I would be the new pasta machine it even warmed up the sauce. This way every bodies stomach would be full for bed time, and you always need some ice cream afterwards.

Life in the Little Lane: Edith Ann on Riddles

Hi Deni G,Hello Thank-You for asking. I am doing about the same, just trying to have a new idea on life. I am trying to be positive and looking forward. I hope all is well with you.

Cokie Roberts on the Chances of an Obama-Hillary Ticket

I have read all of your blogs/comments. I have been am Obama voter since day one. I refuse to change my vote at any time. I gree with most of you Hillary is over, she needs to step down graciously. Before she starts smelling like an old dog. There are other candidates if you wish to check them out go for it. I however will not be voting for McCain. With a son in the Military I do not want him to continue this war. My son is soon going to Iraq for his third term as well as his wife. They will first go to California and practice (play war) to get use to the heat and the sand. They will be there for forty-five days. Then they will arrive back in Kasnas. I will not get a chance to see them here in New Jersey. I pray for them, and I will vote for the presidential runner that will 1) Get this war done,2)Who will be the best candidate for the health care crisis that we are all in,3) Who will help those people out on the streets, to find them jobs and homes, 4)Who will reform welfare, to educate the parents through a job core or through re-educating them. 5) To finally to get this country to except each other and live in harmony. Finally, it is time for all Americans to stand together like we did on 9/11 and when New Orleans went under water. My Father was in the Military so we moved around a lot. I never saw anybody by their color just what game we wanted to play. Why can’t we as adults try to take a page out of our childhood and enjoy each other for what they are Americans.

What is your favorite possession?

My wedding band. See we did not have much money for rings we had three kids. The wedding cost us $1,000.00 which we made back in cash gifts. but wedding ring was made by a special person who is no longer with us, He took a sterling silver spoon and some how turned it into the most beautiful simple but elegant ring for me and one for my husband. I never take the ring off except to clean it with toothpaste, I do this once a month. I miss the gentlemen who made it ,But I remember the day my Husband placed it on my finger and when I placed his on his finger.

Sex at the City's Bridge!

I really enjoyed that story or commentary, You really have a way with words that make people see what you are talking about. Thank-You for that.

Cory Booker to Follow in Barack Obama’s Footsteps?

That sounds wonderful. And we should ignore that “doctor” and the other fool. I am glad that I sort of miss understood your comment. I will always make a point to read your postings with an open mind and a readyness to try to understand where you are coming from.

Cory Booker to Follow in Barack Obama’s Footsteps?

Renata, I agree with what you are saying. American idol does a fundraiser. Every year the money goes to help inner city youths that needs food, a playground whatever they also give to Africa, to get medication for Aids, Food and clothing and schooling. And Chris Daughtry and his band works very year round, to help USA children and single parents with children as well as the children and families if Africa. We all need to give what we can to protect the future of our children. We need to fight Cancer and Aids.

HerTube: Holding Hands

Now that is what unconditional love is. How warm and beautiful.

First Kiss

Wow I have been reading every body else’s experience but to no vale I can not remember mine. I remember the hospital I volunteered at (that is where I met my first husband, he was a patient) I remember where I met my current Husband, But who gave me my first kiss I can not remember, it would be nice if I could.

Mary Wells: 'Birthdays Are Bad for Your Health'

Talking about beauty and birthdays, my mother-in-law is turning 75 years old in a week. She is an Italian, thin, very soft skin and never goes to work or out of the house without her little bit of make-up on. She is so beautiful. I can only wish to look half as good as her. When I get better I hope that I could handle a part-time job. She works anywhere from three to four days a week. I am very proud to call her Mom.

HerTube: Feeling Good

Thank-You so very much! It put a smile on my face and reminded me of some really health fun times.

Lunching with Lance Armstrong

With out getting into the ugly story, as soon as I found out that I had to have 90% of my colon removed ( it turned into a rubber band) I have not had a single drink not even a wine cooler. My doctor warned me of alcohol hurting the bowel that I had left. At the same time my Husband has given up any kind of drinking even a beer after doing the yard work.

Face to Face with the Weak Dollar

I am waiting for that stimulus check. Being stuck in the house can drive a person crazy. When we get our check my husband will build me a ramp and side walk from the back porch. I can not wait. Then I can get out of the house and go read to the elementary children, or help in some way. I just wish it would come soon. So in a way we will be helping the economy and the children in our community.
