Lorraine-Actually I’ve noticed thinly veiled racist remarks here and dismissing of Obama when he is so superior to the candidate. I’m working on his campaign and it is exhilarating. Take a look at some things I’ve posted and you see—his supporters are some of the sharpest people on the planet. I think the many of the women here are stuck in the past foggies who wouldn’t know a breathe of fresh air if it slapped them in the face. I’d disregard these people’s opinions—-three people piling on because you took it one way is bullying to shut you up. I f truly interested in not being devisive they’d have asked you a question rather than putting you down. A real troupe of harpies. I didn’t like it at all that the “A” word was used either…a horrible thought. Don’t blame you for being upset. Obama will be the nominee within three weeks, Hillary will not be the VP—that should shut them up.

How rude. Aren’t you the person, Ms. P, who wrote somewhere about people jumping down other’s throats. Obviously Lorraine saw it differently, and piling on her instead of letting the person she responded to is just being a bully…and a hyprocrite since you decried the same kind of thing elsewhere here. Actually just reread…yes a very big, obnoxious bully.

Get real. She and Bill are the junkyard attack dogs of politics.

Given their reps perhaps there’ll be pyrotechnics at the palace before Bastille Day. Fun observations.

What's the last thing that made you laugh out loud?

A few friends and I were eating at a Cow Jumped Over the Moon — a French cafe in Beverly Hills in the Rodeo Collection. A flashy, tanned blonde in Chanel sunglasses breezed in on her Manolo Bs jangling her gold bangle bracelets to the sounds of rustling shiny shopping bags from Armani, Chanel, & Neiman Marcus. As she waltzed past we all saw that the hem of her multi-layer tulle skirt was tucked up into her belt and her well-shaped behind was on full view. She was wearing next-to-nothing black lace panties with something indistinguishable written in pink cursive writing. Two waiters looked on—dumbstruck—as if wondering what to do. We were biting our lips to prevent our laughing. Once she was out of view and earshot we couldn’t control ourselves. It was so unexpected to see and because she walked like a very posh runway model it was even funnier. We laughed until we were dabbing our eyes. Then someone would make up a witty slogan written on her underwear and we were all convulsed again. And even though I’m volunteering on Obama’s campaign…I only just saw this slightly risque video of “Obama and Hillary”, which I found hysterical, proving my adolescent sensibility. Don’t think this is what they mean by ‘unite’ the party: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMs-p5y6cvo

five more superdelegates for Obama today…he only needs 138 more Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempore Mike Morgan: Morgan said, “Senator Obama embodies the character of a leader that I believe all Oklahomans and all Americans want—principled and strong and ready to change the way business is done in Washington. He understands bringing people together and giving everyone a seat at the table will move our state and our country forward, and I deeply admire that about Senator Obama.” The College Democrats of America: CDA President Lauren Wolfe said, “We reached out to college students nationwide through Facebook, MySpace and YouTube and the responses were overwhelming. College students want change - and Senator Obama offers an opportunity for all of us to move forward in this country to talk about the issues that matter. We’ve struggled under the burden of college loans that pile up day by day; while the average casualty age for an American soldier in Iraq is 21. Young people are the ones paying the price for George Bush’s failed leadership. Senator Obama offers us a new beginning and wants to make our voices heard in our government.” “We are ready to roll up our sleeves for Senator Obama by working with Students for Barack Obama and the millions of students ready for change.” Wisconsin’s Superdelegate State Senator Lena Taylor: Taylor said, “After much reflection and soul searching I am pleased to announce my endorsement for Senator Barack Obama. After a review of my recent County Executive race I am more aware then ever of the need to galvanize, motivate and inspire political participation by every member of society. Senator Obama has been a lightening rod in the effort to return citizens to the process. He’s awakened a sleeping giant – the people. He has reenergized those weary of politics as we have come to know it by demonstrating both character and personal strength. He has connected with a cross-section of Americans, with a desire to do things better then we have done before. He has an energy and commitment that is inclusive, thoughtful, contagious and deliberate. Senator Obama has the essential skill set to foster positive changes desperately needed for our nation. His track record on policy, his diplomatic approach to conflict resolution and his keen awareness of the issues have positioned him to be the catalyst for change we need. Visionary, courageous and capable, Senator Obama is not only prepared to answer that 3am crisis phone call, he’s smart and experienced enough to avert it. I’m proud to endorse him today.” Democrats Abroad Chair and superdelegate Christine Schon Marques (*1/2 vote): CHICAGO, IL – Today Democrats Abroad Chair and superdelegate Christine Schon Marques endorsed Barack Obama for president, citing his unique ability to unite all Americans and restore our moral standing in the world. And, Indiana Congressman Pete Visclosky: CHICAGO, IL — Today, Indiana Congressman Pete Visclosky endorsed Barack Obama for President, citing his commitment to build a working coalition to address the real issues Americans face: America needs a President who offers a vision of the future comprised of sensible solutions to today’s troubles. My choice is Senator Barack Obama, who promises to seek pragmatic, progressive solutions to problems like jobs, Iraq, the energy crisis, and healthcare. Barack Obama will bring people together, give them hope, spur change, and set the U.S. back on a course toward progress, prosperity, and global leadership. Senator Obama said: “I want to thank Congressman Visclosky for his support. Pete has been an advocate for Indiana’s working men and women. I look forward to working with him to strengthen our economy, create a clean energy future and ensure our seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve. Visclosky is the 286th superdelegate to endorse Barack Obama. That’s a net gain of 4.5 superdelegate votes. Add the NARAL and Edwards endorsements today and West Virginia is already fading in the rearview mirror. Update: From Oreo were learn that: A New Hampshire Democratic Party delegate who had supported John Edwards says he will support Barack Obama, now that Edwards has endorsed his former political rival for the party’s presidential nominee. Joshua Denton of Portsmouth, 26, an Iraq war veteran, says he thinks that both Obama and Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Republican nominee John McCain. He thinks that Obama is the change the country needs, along with having the best chance of beating McCain in the general election. “My fear with Hillary was just because she is who she is — for better or worse — she would sink, not just lose the presidency,” but Democrats in Congress, Denton said Wednesday.
