Israel does not trust the Palestinian leadership and why should they?  Every time Israel has given up land for hopeful peace they get screwed big time; rockets fire, soldiers kidnapped and their bodies exchanged for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, Hamas/Fatah killing Israeli school children, suicide bombers sent by their mothers! The Arab countries do not want Palestinian people living in their countries!  The Palestinian people must unify and tell their so called leaders they have had enough of being lied to by their own.  Hamas steals the UN food so they can tell Gazans Hamas takes care of you.  Arab leaders must say they have had enough of the violence and help the Palestinians on the path to peace and prosperity. I’m sick and tired of Israel being blamed for the violence when Hamas and Fatah do everything possible to continue the violence so they can retain power.  They are evil!

Carol J, you are correct. Yet, it’s been many many years since commercial ads. Re a suffragette museum - at least we have the Women’s Hall of Fame (believe that’s the correct name) in Seneca Falls New York. Think that’s where the first ‘suffragette convention’ was held in 19th century. Is there a women’s museum being planned for Smithsonian? Anyone knowledgeable about this?

I go online almost every day to sites of some daily newspapers. We still receive two different print dailies. There’s something very comforting reading the paper while drinking my morning coffee. Sure hope print journalism lives a very long time yet sadly see the online writing on the wall.

When hearing about Paul Newman’s passing my first instinct was to call my dearest childhood friend to talk about the first man we had a crush on. Over the years, the crush turned into respect and admiration for a man who knew how to utilize his fame to improve the lives of children. My thoughts and prayers go to his loving family. May his memory inspire others to change the world!

Tzipi Livni is the best possibility for peace talks with the Palestinians. I hope the Orthodox won’t succeed in forming a coalition to stop her efforts.
