I loved "Bosom Buddies."  It was a great, funny show. One of the last with an original concept and not some derivative of a BBC britcom.

I was just laid off today, in fact, as part of a "strategic" reduction in force.  I was with one organization for 20 years but had several different jobs within.  The job I was laid off from was writing for a magazine.  Considering the economy I even came away with a good severance package.   But I have no idea what I will do next.  I don’t know what my dream career is. 

 I know I could really use some help in figuring that out.

First Lady Michelle Obama has wasted no time with several awe-inspiring achievements.

A little breathless there, don’t you think?  If it’s "awe-inspiring" it’s only because her predecessor did so little.

And, if you ask us, whatever happens behind the Clinton’s closed doors should be their business. Hasn’t the world heard enough about their personal life?

Wait a sec.  There’s no proof it is Ashley Biden, only someone that looks like her.  So why are you treating this as a definitive identification? 

If it turns out not to have been Ashley Biden, will you be issuing an equally public apology?

The report from Judicial Watch was recycled by Fox and Drudge and the fact that this item sources Michelle "Moonbat" Malkin is yet another reason to discount it.  Next phony controversy please.

No, not Howard Dean.  I think the world of him but not for Surgeon General.  Surgeon General is a public health job and Dean is into public policy.  You don’t get to make public policy as Surgeon General.  Besides, he’s just started a consulting gig, he’s signed up with a speaker’s bureau and has a bunch of other irons in the fire that I doubt he’d want to leave to take the Surgeon General job.

"Guard us in a democracy"? Fred Hiatt at the Washington Post still defends the Bush’s Administration’s illegal war in Iraq.  Sheryl Gay Stolberg reported in the NYTimes that Newt Gingrich "sees the stimulus bill as his party’s ticket to a revival in 2010, as Republicans decry what they see as pork-barrel spending for projects like marsh-mouse preservation." However, Stolberg did not note that the oft-repeated Republican claim is false.

If newspapers actually did their jobs and really did guard us then we wouldn’t need watchdogs like Media Matters (mediamatters.org).
