Outside my back window I see my brick patio with a fountain and 3 palm trees and the brick wall around my yard. On the other side of the wall is a beautiful green palo verde tree, a mesquite tree and several cholla cactus . Sometimes there are bobcats, which are adorable, even tho they are quite mean.

Dependable, loyal, honest, hard working, fun/funny, occasionally indecisive, still young at heart, and maybe sometimes a pain in the butt..ask my husband.

I think that picture is very creepy. That hot looking body with the old looking head. It has to be photo shopped. With all that testosterone, HGH and more he should have hair, and not gray hair either, plus, why the glasses? It makes little sense, but it seems to be working for him as far as drawing in clients who have the $$$ to pay for what he offers. It is all so medically dangerous, but seemingly not worrying those who believe in what he has to offer. I’ll bet he is majorly shallow and boring.

The thing is that he is young, he’s at a party, there is drinking and this is a guy thing. The fact he is Obama’s speech writer, it probably didn’t occur to him to temper his behavior. Also the fact that everybody has camera phones and use them at the least provocation, also slipped his mind. So there he was on Face book with his unseemly behavior for the world to see and raise the hackles of a great many. He must write very good speeches to be in that position, and I’m sure he won’t be doing anything like that again. I think the entire thing should be dropped as an unfortunate happening. I’m sure far worse things have happened by other politicians or those working for politicians, even the president, before cameras were about to capture what was considered fun by the unfortunate person doing whatever it was.

So many different opinions here, but I am quite curious why there are those who feel that Sarah Palin is quite qualified to be president, yet Carolyn Kennedy is totally unqualified to be a senator? This makes absolutely no sense to me, and probably the reason I am a lapsed Republican.

I couldn’t give up getting my roots done, unless things were just absolutely at the end of the line for all of us. Then, I’d have to beg, borrow or steal everything for my 2 cats, as they come first in my life - even over my roots….Cleaning woman - meh!

Not the best I ever heard, but it’s funny.. On a plane flight from Seattle to Chicago, a blonde was sitting in economy class. About half way through the flight, she got up and moved to an empty seat in first class. A flight attendant who observed this, went over to her and politely explained that she had to move back to economy class because that was what her ticket was for. The blonde replied, “I’m blonde, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Chicago and I’m staying right here.” After several attempts to explain to the blonde why she had to return to economy class, the flight attendant gave up. She went to the cockpit and explained the situation to the pilot and co-pilot. The co-pilot said, “Let me try.” He went up to the blonde and politely tried to explain to her why she needed to return to her seat in economy class. But the blonde only replied, “I’m blonde, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Chicago and I’m staying right here.” Frustrated, the co-pilot returned to the cockpit. He suggested that perhaps they should have the airline call the police and have her arrested when they land. “Wait a minute,” said the pilot. “Did you say she’s blonde? I can handle this. My wife is a blonde. I speak Blonde.” So he went up to the woman sitting in first class and whispered something in her ear. “I’m sorry,” said the blonde, and she promptly got up and returned to her seat in economy class. “What did you say to her?” ask the astonished flight attendant and co-pilot. To which the pilot replied, “I just told her that first class isn’t going to Chicago.”

You need a GPS in Tucson, as it’s beyond easy to get lost. The roads end at a wash and relocate someplace on other side or else they suddeny change names.. Without any freeways you must wind all over the place to get where you are going. I am late to almost everyplace just because it’s impossible to get around without getting lost, even if I leave early. I’ve lived here for so long without one and you have made me decide I should get one to make life easier.

I didn’t like David Gregory much earlier, but when he started standing up to Bush and questioning him at length I formed a new respect for him. It will be hard to fill Russert’s place, but I’ll wish him well and hopefully after a bit he will do as well in his own way.,

SOY MILK…If you must drink soy milk be sure to read the label and get the kind that has no Carrageenan. It is a gel like additative made from sea weed which can be responsible for cancer. Dr. Weil says not to drink any that has this as an added ingredient.

I wrote a post on Chris Matthews last night and it took me quite awhile to write it. I hit ‘submit’ and it totally disappeared never to be seen again.. Wanted to scream and yell and too tired to rewrite it..sigh. I like Katie’s hair and phooey on those men who dislike it. It’s very attractive,

I think Ann Coulter is such a poseur with a great act guaranteed to raise the ire of those who disagree with her, and there are a lot of us, which is why she is such a success. There she is, with her long out-dated blond hair, her cross, like a good Christian woman, and her low cut black dresses - also her adam’s apple, which causes a lot of questions of her sex. She is so anorexic and all I can see is this woman and laxatives/vomiting, which makes me smile when I hear her vitriolic comments, knowing that what we see is just a costumed, possibly insecure person, who must say and write this inflamatory crap to put us all on and become very rich in the process, but is she stable in real life?

I went to Walgreen’s, only a few there, then I went to a card shop, nobody, but me, there, then I went to a shop that sells Indian and Southwestern stuff ,which had a few, but not many there; ended up at Bed, Bath & Beyond where I noticed about 10 people. Then I started worrying, but felt sure the malls fared better. Really hope so, as in today’s paper read that the two biggest malls here might be facing bankruptcy and that is terrible.

The right to chose has unfortunately become a political issue, and it seems the most vocal against abortion are men. However it has now also become a religious issue with the far right going out of their way to make it difficult or nearly impossible for a woman seeking an abortion to get one. The right to chose should be up to the individual, as there are circumstances that only the woman knows about that causes her to seek an abortion.No religious group should tell any woman what to do with her body Too many people of both sexes were not even alive when it was totally illegal, but, yet, women had illegal abortions then, at often a great cost to them healthwise, sometimes leading to their death. If Roe V Wade is dropped women will still get abortions, and we will have unfortunately regressed into a dark period in time.
