Remember shopping pre-Internet? What era/memory in the evolution of shopping do you think of most fondly?

I miss the old stores on 5th Avenue, NY. Best & Co., Altmans, Russeks, etc. Also Ohrbachs. Those were the days.

Has your mother's style influenced your own? In what way?

My mother was really something. She lived to be 88, and still had fashion, and was quite funny. I find myself being my mother now, in many ways,

How dare they do this? This is just terrible, people of all ages get this, I am getting fed up.

What was your favorite book (or books) as a child?

I had many books about Native Americans. I was always interested in them.

Dining room table? Fur coat? A new house? What was your first 'adult' purchase?

Mine was a mink coat, my uncle who came here from Greece after the war, he was in concentration camp and survived, he made it for me, he worked in the fur district in NY. I got a real good price.

The milkman cometh back! Do you remember a time when he delivered your milk?

I remember the milkman well. In fact, he was my neighbor’s father. He delivered Sheffield milk, in Brooklyn. I also remember the watermelon man, my brother used to jump on and take a ride with him. Oy, showing my age.
