The "stock market" has been a naughty little boy who needs a good whooping IMHO. It is just reacting negatively to the new reality that it can’t cheat at the game anymore. There’s a new daddy in Washington who is watching and says you have to play by the rules now son. Wall Street has a choice. Stomp its feet and hold its breath until it turns blue, or get with the new program, where measured profits can be had without bankrupting the country.

I object to the objectification of this woman. The Octomom moniker being used throughout the media is distasteful. We do not all need to be the same. Some marry seven times, some never. Some have 18 children, others have none. Some work maniacally and aspire to great wealth, others live off the land. Our values differ. Her primary "sin" is that she appears to have no visible form of financial support. But the morality of her decision is what everyone questions. We are different. We are not all the same and there is no one way to be in this world. What tends to be the norm does not mean it is the only way. Live the life you want. Vive la difference.

The country is in deep financial doo-doo. There’s so much domestic work to be done. Anyone know how much that trip to Canada in Air Force One with that security detail cost the taxpayers? Anyone keeping a tab on how much the new prez’s unnecessary galavanting across the country has cost us so far? I know, I know, it must be no fun at all to sit at that big lonely desk in the Oval office all day doing the work of the nation you were elected to serve, when it is so much sexier to hold press conferences, shake hands, and give little speeches to random audiences across our fair nation before kicking back at Camp David on the weekends. Smile! Hey, your ego trip is being footed by the suffering taxpayers.

Finally saw Doubt last night. Streep was AMAZING. None of her telltale acting Streepisms. She embodied that character 100%. That character was alive. She should win the Oscar. Even tho I love Winslet. Streep’s performance was the best of the season.

It’s the old, send the troublemaker to the Arctic routine. I find Obama’s tactics to be so transparent. I don’t know why Hillary fell for this (taking the job). Unless she has her own ulterior motives. Wouldn’t put that past her. Looks like the old boys club in full swing to me. I wonder what Albright thinks of this.

(btw, I hate this new posting text box Wow has created. They eliminated the corner wipe, that one could use to open up the box and view your whole post. This new box is so claustrophobic. nice to have the editing and spellcheck. Just too bad they eliminated a great function in the change.)
