Have you ever experienced sex discrimination? If so, what did you do about it?

Brad, can post this information on My Space and Facebook for a start, also on Barack Obama’s site, as he has loads of young voters that are participating in his campaign. I hear among staff and supporters of Presidential campaigns, casual sex among the young participates is rampant.

Have you ever experienced sex discrimination? If so, what did you do about it?

Yes, I have in practically every place I ever worked. I did complain, once sexual harrassement rules were in the forefront of the company’s policies. The man doing the harassment, his job was threatened and he did not continue the harrassment. Other forms of sexisism was in the form of salary, paying less to the women than the man doing the same job with same experience and education. After numerous memos to the parties concerned salary was upgraded, but frankly I never caught up to the men.

Does a Little Obama 'Elitism' Go a Long Way in Politics?

I believe what Hillary Clinton said is that Obama was behaving like an elitist at the SF fundraiser simply by talking about the working class of PA, and that the only reason that they may not vote for him is because, they don’t trust the politicans in Washington, because of the failures of the Bush administration (he also said the Clinton administration, which of course is not true) that these people spend to much time praying, gun toting and basically being racist, that is what he said, and people can spin anyway they want, but that is it in a nut shell. So he was condesending just as Hillary was suggesting, and Obama is a Washington insider and elitist, period. It’s too bad people didn’t see it before now and may be stuck with the wrong nominee again, just as I have saying all along. The democrat people should have voted for is John Edwards, he lead on every issue, and the media decided not to mention him, unless it was a negative comment. Only two candidates were running so far as the public knew, thanks to the cable news and their pundits and they are still running.

Life in the Little Lane: Edith Ann on Wishing

I wish I could stick to a diet for more than one week at a time. I wish I could grow up and not have feelings for people I don’t know.

A Blueprint and Outline for Changing the World

Corn oil is not the answer, the price of food, is out of control, it partly linked to the farmers growing corn for use in cars, instead of for consumption and replacing corn for wheat, driving up wheat flour products. The only answer now is more fuel efficient cars, and driving and flying as little as possible.

On '60 Minutes:' Is Gastric Bypass Surgery More Than Just a Way to Lose Weight?

If a person has tried and tried to lose weight, and are at risk, and could die from the diseases you get when you are extremely overweight, like heart disease, diabetes type II, stroke, and generally not being able to walk or exercise without being out of breath. Then you need drastic measures, like an operation on your stomach to stop you from eating too much, if that’s the reason you got fat to begin with. But everyone should try to take the weight off with a good eating program for the obese, even if it means being hospitalized for a time. If you are only 20 lbs overweight, and have diabetes you should lose weight on your own and definately if your weight is just a cosmetic thing.

Who won last night's debate in Philadelphia?

Hillary Clinton is the articulate candidate, not Obama. With the questions about Rev. Wright and other associates in the past, Obama couldn’t answer clearly, he looked angry and really didn’t want to answer questions. Obama has never discussed the issues, and this was a perfect debate to get a update on the issues, it didn’t happen.

What do you consider to be the new seven deadly sins?

Young women, deciding to have children out of wedlock, even if the man doesn’t want the child, like the man doesn’t count, not only in support but in raising the child. There are so many children that are available for adopton, since single people can now adopt, but a family with a women and a man raising the child is better if possible.

What advice would you give to a 21-year-old woman?

It would depend on what kind of advice she was looking for.

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?

I don’t do dangerous things. However, in the seventies I took the subway home at 2 AM.

How do you feel about Iraq right now? What is your biggest fear, and what is your biggest hope?

The occupation and war in Iraq is ruining the economy in the US. We need the money being spent in Iraq for domestic issues like universal health care, education and the US infrastructure, not Iraq. End the war bring the troops home. Let those people fight their own civil wars, like they have been doing for centuries, it seems part of their culture. US needs to stay out of the middle east period.

Are the goings-on within polygamist sects any of our business? Should they be monitored? By whom?

Children are involved and therefore crimes have been committed against them. Of course the law should be involved this is the US, polygamy is illegal, sex with a child is illegal. This sect of Mormons should be closed down period. I am outraged that this behavior is allowed in this country.

I Read the News Today, Oh Boy: Will Obama Prove Them Wrong?

I really didn’t think too much about Obama, except I hoped he wouldn’t run. My only interest was would the person I thought should be a candidate was going to run. He ran in 2004, and people were hoping he would try again in 2008, I thought he should try again in 2012. But he decided to run and announced he was running in December of 2006 before Obama was in the race. I have really not paid any attention to Obama, except the media pushed him in our faces, like it or not. I really didn’t think America was ready to elect a black person for president, because racism still exists in the country, in every part of life, mostly subtle but it is there. Just look at the neighborhoods in America, that is the true sign and Katrina was the proof. Personally I still feel America is still not ready, but there are indications that Obama really has a chancer to get the nomination and even get elected, but the reason is people can’t stand GW Bush and his policies on almost everything, starting with Iraq and the lie, the economy, education and the lack of opportunity for all those who are poor and middleclass, and if your skin is not white the opportunities are less, college educated or not. So if Obama gets elected it will be because people are tired of GW Bush, and anyone of any color will do, they have got to be better than GW.
