But at least he didn’t lie the country into a sham of a War by saying there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and in fact there were none., Thousands of people died for nothing, and the country is in trillions of dollars of debt, the economy is sinking and unemployment is the highest it has been in 6 years. I am sorry, if Edwards had a chance to be President and was the nominee, i would not change my mind based on a personal mistake, every one is allowed a mistake, he didn’t hurt me he hurt his wife and family they have moved on and forgave him. Stop picking on this man, I have never seen such outrage among people, you all act as though it was the first politician to cheat on his wife. Non stop coverage, when talked about the issues, he couldn’t get anyone’s ear. His wife campaigned knowing he had been unfaithful, because it was worth trying to get a man in the White House that might do this country some good. I guess you are not voting for McCain, either,because he certainly cheated on his first wife, with his now second wife, that makes them both cheaters. He also has been rumored to have had an affair with a lobbyiest, but obviously she has good friends, unlike the women that Edwards took up with, who she confided and then sold her story to the rag Enquirer. John Edwards is a human being and a man. Men make mistakes, especially if they are being chased by sex crazed women. Listening to the pundits, most which are men, you would think they never heard of a man cheating, and it is though they don’t, won’t, etc. well, I don’t believe it, most of them are not good looking. It is always some ugly guy that gets bent out of shape, it’s just jealousy.

When Edwards began the affair, he was not running for office, people wanted him to run, but he had not made that decision, it was 2006. He was going around stumping for the Dems running for the Senate and Congress, supporting unions and talking up raising the minimum wage. The videos were the idea of the stranger he met and he believed in her idea, of making these little videos, obviously he got involved beyond work, she was the chaser and she snagged him. Well, he didn’t, i certainly wouldn’t tell the whole world I had been unfaithful, if they found out later and still wanted to vote for him, they still could have. The women John Edwards had the affair told someone she had an affair and sold the story to a tabloid rag paper and destroyed a man and his family, that’s my take on it. It was personal between him and wife not the public, if she forgave him, I don’t see why the public can’t, since 50% of the married population is cheating on their spouses. Once Obama, entered the race with all the money and the media behind him and did better than anyone else has ever done raising money in the first quarter, the other candidates didn’t have much of a chance. He has outspent everyone else and still continues to do. He rose to the top of ticket just as McCain’s ad said (the one with Britney and Paris) being a celebrity with millions of young people standing up for his so called change and hope and hardly a word on the issues. Obama was what they wanted hear, he represented change, by just mere fact that he was a person color. Hillary Clinton was Bill Clinton’s wife and everyone knew her, hence her popularity. Edwards and the rest didn’t have much of chance. So Edwards having an affair long before he entered the race at the end of December 2006, and him telling the world, I had an affair, do you still want to vote me, would never have made any difference at all. He lost the nomination, he didn’t win his home state, and came in way behind Obama and Hillary and he lead the way on every important issue to the Democrats with his progressive ideas, people just wanted Obama without any message. Affair or no affair, he wouldn’t have got the nomination.

John Edwards has worn that tee shirt on another occasion, there was a picture of him in an article, where he was at a gym in a hotel in NYC on a tread mill running, so the photos are definately photoshopped, because if they were spy photos, how did the camera get inside the room were he was, it’s against hotel policy and a violation, or crime to spy on people without their knowledge. Also it could be call breaking and entering to put a camera in the room. I believe a lot of Hilton hotels have the same drapes in certain room, it is definately photoshopped. Also, it was at night he was suppose to be visiting the hotel, these pictures were taken during the day. I guess this rag feels the people that read it, don’t pay attention to details, not to mention he was wearing according to them, a blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up upon entering the hotel and upon leaving. Edwards may be having an affair, but the photos are false. This is a sad story, because the aim is destroy his reputation and all chances to be a public servant. So far it’s working, the rumor is, he is no longer being considered for VP or a cabinet position, and will not speak at the convention as a former VP candidate in 2004. I hope this this story gets cleared up soon.

I hope Caroline Kennedy is not Obama’s choice that would be worst than anyone I can think of right now. I think she wants to be more involved with politics than previously, but VP now, I hope she wouldn’t accept. Of course there is Joe Kennedy, and Kathleen Kennedy, both were in politics and would be better running mates with the same ideas and values for the people as Obama, which is how he will base his choice for running mate. The media has ruled Hillary Clinton out, and supposely she’s not on the list but, she would absolutely be the best, ready on day one, too bad because Obama is going to lose a lot of votes. We may be looking at President McSame..

Obama knew about the rumor, a long time ago, at least since December, 2007, just before the Iowa vote,John, came in second to Obama. So therefore he either didn’t believe the crap or just still wanted a verbal endorsement from Edwards, and he wanted his supporters to support him the most. He bugged Edwards about the endorsement, until John Edwards gave in, in May Obama and staff certainly knew about the child and the women. I don’t think Obama ever really considered Edwards as a VP, neither does Edwards think so , as per his last interview.

John Edwards is not greedy, and his cases were just luck, I think. He is the first man in his family to attend college and law school, he formed his own law firm after dabbling in other types of law and small jobs right after school. He is not the persons you describe. If you don’t what you are talking about you should not talk, you sound like the enquirer and very mean spirited.

I guess you missed the internet reports about Obama having gay sex, and when the man who reported it, went to DC to talk about his meeting with Obama, without total proof, he was arrested for another matter and put in jail. I don’t know if he is still there, but along with Obama’s cocaine use and aligning himself with a slum landlord, who has been convicted on eight counts, and waiting for sentencings he’s no prize and should not expect perfection in his VP pick, if that was a consideration in the first place. This story was reported months ago, as to whether the child is John Edward’s child is still another story., Is he still having a long distrance affair with this women now, obviously the Enquirer thinks so. Whoever is behind this reporting whether the mainstream media picks up on the story or not wants John Edwards out of the government period. The story was first reported right before Iowa caucuses, he was first in the polls, came in second in Iowa. He’s on a short list for VP, now, so I guess they want the vetting to include the possible affair and child, so Obama doesn’t pick him. Yes, Clinton was outted by Jennifer Flowers before his nomination, that went over like a lead balloon, when Hillary Clinton stood by him. Was he a cheat as we all know he was, and probably still is. He did his job and his time in the Whitehouse was eight of the best years for the American people.
