Channeling Norman Mailer

Thank you for recounting the memorial service-somewhere I’d like to have been on that day. I had the opportunity to write an article about Mr. Mailer-glad I did.

What Happens to Us After We Die?

Ahh…one of, if not the deepest of all subject matter that could be discussed, spiritual. Here’s a thought-provoking question as an answer to the question raised. In the Bible David is said by God to be “a man after his own heart.” All of what’s said about him relative to his relationship with God certainly would indicate he had God’s favor, despite his mistakes. So if he had God’s favor or was considered good in God’s eyes, why does it say at Acts 2:34 that David didn’t ascend to heaven? Have a GREAT day.

What signs, if any, of recession have you noticed?

Very telling downward turns in labor and manufacturing since Dec ‘07; the credit markets are STILL a mess and the Fed and Treasury are throwing everything at them, including the, now, real possibility that they’ll outrightly buy mortgages; consumer confidence indicators are very, very low; falling dollar, generally ever since gold left the building, and by definition can only mean inflation to Americans; the changed rules of international business competition are really starting to coming home to roost in America now, like never before, etc., etc.-oh and my Cream O Land milk costs enough now that I put less in my late night splurge of some sugar cereal (laughing).
