What do men not know about women?

Sally—-If I did not read you wrong—- I have to disagree with you. To have some one to look after me when I get old is the wrong reason to get married! I remembered that was what I used to say in the discussion groups about 20 years ago. I still did not change my mind after all these years…. dancewu(dot)net

Sharron—- I was born there and raised there untill high school graduation, and still have problem of the Chinese language. Good luck to you…..dancewu(dot)net

I am afraid finally I have to spell it out what I had in mind for some time……. The British used the TACTIC called “DIVIDE AND CONQUER” for over two hundred years. Now the American adapted it for foreign policy. That is why there is Taiwan and Tibet issues. Before that there were North and South Korea, and North and South Vietnam……. But China today is so strong now, at least stronger than T-Square in 1989, that the old- fashioned TACTIC like this sometimes worked and sometimes did not work. Perhaps people are getting more knowledgeable and the internet might play an important role in this. Look at all the protests all over the world about the medias from the West abused the truth in Tibet. I personally heard of quite a few of those “HUMAN RIGHTS” complaints as a result of the abuse of the news medias….. ” The folks in Tibet don’t look like the Chinese folks……” Well, You have not met me yet. If you have, You would probably think I looked more like Dalai Lama than an Indian from India would! …..” So, why should Tibet belong to China.” …. The American Indians do not look like the Europeans,( they looked more like me, a Chinese from Mogolia- so I was told by the history books). Why should the American Indians belong to the United states?….dancewu(dot)net

Thank you, Mugsy Peabody. I never learned to write in English as much as now in my life because my mother tongue is Chinese. Coming to this site and reading all the fantastic writings, I really enjoyed myself enormously! often I found myself laughing at the computer like crazy because of writings like yours are so humorous and are so thoughtful. Thank you again!—- dancewu(dot)net—- P.S. I like your name Peabody very much because my doctor’s name is also Peabody from Detroit. He saved my life!

In YouTube “Rape of Nanking”, I asked a question,” If the Chinese already had the Nuclear Weapons in 1930, would the Japanese still invade China in 1931, and Nanking in 1937 ?” My point is: Whenever we asked a question “What do you think about China today?” I always respond to this kind of question by ” A weak nation never has a foreign policy!” Now, can I give you my answer this way ——-“China is doing very well today. Thank you.”—— dancewu(dot)net

lin si—- it is so nice to hear from you in WOWOWOW.—- IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SITE! BECAUSE IT IS A SITE WITH THE MOST INTELLIGENT WOMEN GATHER TOGETHER AND EXPRESS THEIR INSIGHT ABOUT ALMOST ANY SUBJECT! WITH BRAVERY AND WITH TREMENDOUS DEPTH! I am a Chinese-American and have three lovely Chinese-Irish-American grand children. I was five When the Japanese invaded Hong Kong. When one young Japanese wrote and apologizesd to me in YouTube about the Rape of Nanking last week, I broke into tears. I said there is hope for humanity! But the sun also rises, every day is news as the world is getting more and more complicated! And, in my opinion, the world is heading to the end with the possibility, never before in history, that the nuclear weapons are every where. Any body can push the button to kill the enemy and himself—— no winners! The days of anyone felt at will to cut a peice out of “the Chinese sleeping lion”are gone, because China also has nuclear weapons too!…. One final word: Tibet is one of the provinces of China. I do not think the White House would appreciate if Berlin would comment that if the governor of California ever decided to be separated from the U.S.A.! After all, California is part of the U.S.A.!——dancewu(dot)net

It's been 19 years since the protests in Tiananmen Square. What do you think about China today?

Mugsy—- In 1956, before I came to the States to join my father in New York. My Chinese classmate wrote to me from Australia, saying the same thing: The Australian people were very nice to the Chinese, but the Australian government policy was not!—————————— Last night I met a fellow dancer who said he is American native. then I shook his hand and said, nice to know you, cousin. The reality is a lot of people in the world are immigrants. I am a chinese immigrant, and your ancestors were probably immigrants from Europe or Africa. Nobody is a native (except that man I met last night whose ancestors were also immigrants from mogolia through Alaska long time ago, Long before the Europeans!) So be kind to each other. Huh?! Because we all are world citizens!—- dancewu(dot)net

Mary Wells said it all… Because Mary was there, just as my daughter and her Irish husband, with the three beautiful kids, they went up to the Great wall …. seeing is believing. I just want to add one question if I may: How do people like to see the governor of California wanted to be separated from the U.S.A.? as a parellel of the situation in Tibet.( Tibet is part of China, as well as Hong kong and Taiwan!) If that happens, I would like to ask a question to France or Poland whether it is all right for the U.S.A. to be divided into small pieces like there were North and South Korea, North and South vietnam. and so on? Remember that when the outsiders started getting jealous of and attacking you from their point of view, you must have got something that they envy and don’t want you to have it! On the other hand, if you have nothing threatening, they will probably look away and leave you alone. That is the time you should realize that you have got nothing to be jealous about yet! I am a Chinese-American, on one hand I am proud that China finally woke up! on the other hand, When China gets to be so strong that would threaten my grand children’s future!—-dancewu(dot)net

What do men not know about women?

Dr. Klein—- You came from a marriage of four children. with the exception of the difference in our bank accounts, I believed that both you and I came a long way. We were probably married to a dominent, first born, controlling wife.( people already gave it a name, “Jewish mother”. I was married to a Chinese-Jewish mother for 21 years.) Now we are free! we are searching for the answer of who we really are. Any way, all I want to say here is that we are on the right tracks to search for humanity that we did not quite get it once before in our lives, and now we have the opportunity to do all our own thinking. We do not want to give roadblocks to the nice ladies who are also in a very difficult path to search for their freedom too. Their grievances were longer—- ever since the stone age when the women were the dominent spices. It was the women who practiced the polygamy then. Any way, it is my belief that people like us men and women are on the way to recovery. Discussions like these were wonderful for me from 1983 to 1995— the pre- AIDS singles world of the discussion groups, dances, dating, book discussion groups, drop-ins, etc., when we had 3,000 members in our single group, and we met more than once a week,… and that saved my life! —-dancewu(dot)net

What do men not know about women?

Angelina—-Let me put it this way. I think most people emphasized the difference of men and women too much, therefore we have the wide gap between the two historically speaking. I am no expert on this subject, but I believe the book my Swedish girl friend lent it to me years ago,” The Birth Order Book- by Dr. Leman” was one of the best book I have ever read. There are first born presidents, the majority of them here in the U.S. throughout history. If there is any female president in the future, most likely would be a first born also. When you think about this, there is not so much to do with the sexes than to the birth order. Deny this is just like denying only the men are not monogamous, and the women are the monogamous animals. (I say sorry to the regilious people for me to use Darwin’s arguments!) It is not the baby born person, whether that is a man or woman, acting as a clown most of one’s life and one day waking up and to lead the most powerful country on earth, just because of some women’s- lib movement, etc. To me, it takes the perseverance and commitment to want to be a president—- In other words, it takes more than slogans and banners to do a super human job. Even that some times still not working out as expected—- for example, the young Bush (ironically a first born who is not so intelligent and still wanted to be a president and did that twice!) is no way near his father when it comes to presidency! Hillary, is an example of nothing to do with whether she is a woman or not, she only saw the opportunities using the woman and the homosexuals and the minorities, and to a great extent, before the black candidate Obama, She helped Bill Clinton to go to the white house was because she could get the black votes in 1992. My point is this —- Please do not overlook that there are so many other factors in the world to make something into something, and they are not always necessary of the equality of men and women that made it so! Finally, if Hillary ever gets elected as the president, You can quote me saying that IT IS ALL BECAUSE SHE IS A FIRST BORN; NOT BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN! If you are a first born, you could also be a president too! Provided you were born in the U.S.A. MAN OR WOMAN COULD BE A CANDIDATE! Since I was born in Hong Kong, although I am a first born,—-you can count me out!—- dancewu(dot)net

What do men not know about women?

Maggie—- A young lady told me years ago,” If you buy me breakfast; I will go home with you.” That turned out to be a one-night stand. The sex was so-so, and I never saw her again.—- dancewu(dot)net

What do men not know about women?

K B —- Through the years as a single person, I discovered that some people are apt to be with someone, while some others , like myself , live by oneself. Because people like me, the older I get , the more of being myself is necessary. I would not trade in my freedom for compromises. Now, that is only my thinking—- I am not, and also would not be qualified to speak for others. “Do you want to grow old with some one?” The answer I found out for myself some time ago is negative. I have slept with approximately 45 in my life , but I could only find peace within myself alone these days—- Not that I don’t want to be with someone, it is a question of my not qualified to play a significant role of this any more! Do I not know about women??? Frankly, I do not even know myself most of the time! These days I go out dancing as much as I can, and came home alone. Since I did not expect anything beforehand, therefore I did not get disappointed afterwards. Again, I want to grow old with someone—- so far no one wants to grow old with me! And I do not want to grow old with most of the women I have met. My attractiveness is getting down from high down to almost nothing. And I know it!—-dancewu(dot)net

What do men not know about women?

As far as I am concerned, I believed both men and women were born naturally not monogamous. If they are monogamous, just becuse they wanted to be! But why so many women I met denied that?!—-dancewu(dot)net
