NC, being rather felicentric myself, I also see the panther like movements. All the gay men I know seem very cat-like to me … soft but strong, and they also often own cats !

And the dominance of Adam’s eyes, the sparkle, the long lashes, the color, surrounded by the silky black hair… definitely a cat

I really love that interview, so real and sweet. My kids are his age and they use that term "ginormous" alot ( obviously gigantic/enormous )

He’s absolutely right, we KNOW he won’t be going home with us, we KNOW his sexual choice is a guy, and YES, we don’t care !!! It’s the fantasy that he gives us on stage that matters, the appreciation of such a perfect man, the voice, the face, the body, the persona, the image !!

As Gail so profoundly said … this really was the "Summer of Love 09"

I remember the Summer of 69, I was 22, had just met my "to be’ husband and was head over heels in love, life was wonderful, full of possibilities and promise, music filled my every waking hour - from the Beatles "Abbey Road" to Janis Joplin, CSNY, Joni Mitchell and Jimi Hendrix. It was a heady time and I was excited about my newly realized future. 

Now, 40 years later … lots of water has run under this bridge, in a metaphorical sort of way, and I had another Summer of Love ! Who would have ever freaking guessed ?? All at the hands of a 27 year old wunderkind ! He jumped into my heart somewhere around March and took me for a roller coaster ride I could have NEVER imagined. As Juneau has so beautifully said, he has made me feel young again. I am sitting here literally with tears streaming down my cheeks because I can’t find the words to explain what this whole experience has meant. I had such a full heart already, how in the world did Adam Lambert find the room to jump in and make it even bigger ?? What was it about HIM ? I’ve watched that damn show every year, ho hum, move on. Why him, why now, in 2009, exactly 40 years later ? I can’t even remember my life before him, can any of you ? He is just a cute boy who sings, right, but damn, the joy he has brought to me is like something I said about 300 pages ago .. a Phoenix rising from the ashes…. truly remarkable !!!

I am feeling such melancholy tonight with these concerts ending, I’ve had a terrible two weeks but I knew I could just come here and my spirits would be lifted and Adam would just be a youTube click away. We’ve had him at our beck ‘n call for 3 months now and I am spoiled, I don’t want it to stop.

…. and you amazing ladies, what are the chances that we would have EVER met in the "real" world !!! Thank you all for this Summer of Love …. my "fangirl summer", my "giggly girlfriend" summer. What was my life before you, can anyone remember ?

Our American Idol Adam is gone, breaking out of the chrysalis, the constraints of the tour bus, ready to open his wings and fly. It’s his world to explore now and we wish him well, but I fear we will lose a bit of him. I am thinking of Juneau’s kiss imprint … like a little son kissing Mommy goodbye as he goes off to school, "I’m a big boy now, watch me run "

… and off he goes. Treat him well world, we’ll be watching !!

 imagine what I’m going through having the mirror sitting RIGHT HERE on my desk!! It’s sheer torture – in a good way.

I keep seeing him lift the mirror to his lips with something like reverence and planting his kiss there. Those darkened eyes, the hair tumbling over his forehead… it’s looping in my brain. Now I am going to faint.

Actually, no, I have never, ever thought of "taking someone out".

I find ideas of "retribution, condemnation and judgement" to be religious based and I reject all religion, makes life much easier.

Hard to tell hyperbole from truth these days, the level of anger, rudeness and hatred is reaching a level I’ve never seen, and wOw posts a topic about "Killing" someone  ? I fear that it will become reality.

#2 You are gorgeous, you say you don’t wear makeup often ? Well, Adam has compelled you to be forever "glammed". Isn’t it amazing how he has changed us all for the better, took us all, amazing women already, and gave us a boost, a glitter, a bit of lighter step, a glimmer in the eye ? Not to mention this wonderful sistergood !!  Also, you look a lot like my son’s beautiful girlfriend.

Now for the review …. Your daughter is a wonderful child, (and seems to have survived the Provincetown incident ! ) and that preparation scene is priceless.  Your comment is so unbelievably true “Well, maybe he’s changed me back to what I was like when I was young.”  That is exactly what he has done !!! 

Your concert experience was so much like the rest of ours, we knew what to expect but we were NOT prepared for the in-person impact. I know exactly what you meant about looking at the jumbotron … in this digital age we are acutely aware of the rareness of the "real" thing and the blurring of the lines between the virtual and real world. Hmmm, topic of in-depth future study, I think.

Your account of meeting him is wonderful, otherworldly, true and fabulous !!!! You actually took home a piece of him …. you know when celebrities talk about fans wanting a piece of them, yes, we do, something real to own, to possess … (in a good way, because WE are sane, but in love )….. in spite of being an embarrassment to our families.

How many times have you taken that treasure out ?  Don’t lie, I bet dozens of times !
