Yes, Why oh why is there no tour photographer around to catch his before show routine ! What I wouldn’t give for a picture of him pumping a little iron, with made-up & shadowed face straining under the weight !!!!

The juxtaposition is so delicious, the incongruity of those two coming together, the image of ONE man partaking of both activities … first the intricacy, delicateness and artistry of applying shadow, liner and mascara - the most feminine of activities, the vamp, the seducer, the enhancement of the window to the soul, like the Eye of Horus, with Udju made from green malachite  from Sinai,  under the spiritual dominion of Hathor, ancient goddess of beauty, joy, love and women. The unadorned and thus unprotected eye is believed vulnerable to the Evil Eye. Outlining the eyes is a personal protective amulet drawn right upon the skin; an amulet that once applied could not be lost or misplaced….

And then the Barbell, the most masculine and testosterone raising of activities, engorging the veins, rippling the muscles, showing the alpha male, the protector of damsels in distress, the warrior, the "don’t mess with me, man, I am here to conquer ! " attitude.

Is this NOT the usual Male vs female, Oh no, this is a creature for a new era, a fusion of the yin & yang, the alpha & omega, the right vs might, the soft vs hard , the perfect union.

How are we so lucky to witness this ?

Interesting discussion, Of course heaven is a nice idea, who wouldn’t like to see Gramma again ? You can’t prove it either way, NO ONE has ever come back to refute it and Churches can use it as to threaten you into submission " do what we say or go to hell" 

I don’t have the answer either, but is seems to me that the essence of who you are your memories and experiences which are stored in the synapses of your brain. When you die you leave your brain here, your basic energy transform and will go back into the earth or out to the air, and that’s that. Your atoms will become part of a new life, be it trees, water or another creature .. a constant process of renewal. We are all made of star stuff and the air we breath is the same air that was taken in to the lungs of Mozart or Ghandi.

And if Heaven is "out there", where is "there" ? Go as high as you want up into the sky and you will just keep on going to infinity, possibly bumping into another galaxy along the way.

It’s all fine with me, I’m enjoying what I have right now and will probably be glad when it is over.
