With McCain’s age and past health problems—his vice presidential choice is very important as the person who might end up running the country! I do NOT want an inexperienced (only 2 yrs as governor) person (male or female)doing that. McCain’s irresponsible choice has made me and many other females change our decision to vote for him.

It seems power and ego cause egotistical errors eventually—what goes around, comes around. Perhaps Joel O and his wife will learn as previous preachers have. Just look at John Edwards to see the character decline of popularity and power. Some churches abuse the tax breaks given—they make their churches into fancy retreats, biggest sound systems, stained glass—which lures some people into thinking they must preach the truth to be so big and sucessful. Some preachers are just good salesmen—-dressing in custom made suits, etc. Too bad they do not spend all that money instead to help the many needy in this country who are struggling.

I am not surprised at this after watching them several times on their television show. It was obvious they think they are movie stars. Joel commented on it is his wife’s duty to look good for him such as not gain weight, wear Fredericks of Hollywood apparel, etc. He probably is in favor of her getting plastic surgery too. I never watched again as he is obviously very shallow. The same will most likely happen about this issue on the airplane— to interpret his way.

Everything seems to be turning into beauty shows, etc. Even the women doubles sand volleyball—-look at the tiny bikinis they play in as opposed to long shorts and shirts of mens doubles sand volleyball!!!! I had hoped at least the Olympics would value women as more than show meat. Same as on Dancing With the Stars—the men dress with class and the women as show girls. Sad role models for young girls everywhere. Think of self esteem value suffered by the little girl who can sing but someone there said was not cute enough—-she is cute! Perhaps the little girl who pretended to sing is a relative of the person who said the other was not cute.
