My Comments (184 so far…)

wOw's Comments of the Week 4/21 - 4/25

For Iris Odonata..the ponys name was Ginger..I was 4 years old. I also had a big English bulldog named Dick and a white hen named Jeep. I taught the bulldog and the chicken to ride the pony and further taught all of them to sit down on my Mothers divan in the living room…I had intended to serve “tea” but was diverted from this activity by my Mother. Thereafter, “tea” was served outside under a big tree in the yard. The dog and the chicken were not allowed to go to the horse show… I still live in America and always have..but the world I grew up in has vanished. The memories of growing up on a cattle ranch and riding horses is a warm and happy one. Horses are still in my life.

Here is one for you. The first sporting event I attended was a horse show..where I rode my pony. The first concert was a band concert in the little bandstand in the park in the middle of the public square. Later I played in the band that played the music.. Wonderful memories of growing up in America. g

What are you reading that you really love?

For quite a while I have been studying Dr. David Hawkins, books including POWER VS FORCE. We have heard about Henry Stapps book Mindful Universe which will be next. Im quite interested in the nature of consciousness and Dr. Hawkins seems to have some excellent insights on that. For fun I read Jane Austen..all in one great big fat book with little tiny print. GT

'We Just Don't Elect Presidents We Don't Like'

If Obama is elected to the office of President, his work is really cut out for him. In addition to having to deal with all the “hot” issues of the day, people are going to expect him to lead them into the America they envision as “better”.. In all his speeches I have yet to hear him get down to facts and tell us how he plans to do all this “change”..Expectations are very high..And the press hasn’t made much of an effort to pin him down on this. Instead they are starry eyed and dreaming along with all the rest of the crowd. Hillary Clinton compaigns on the lets all “Hate Bush” and that is a very popular theme with Democrats, but not as popular as “Camelot Revisited” from the Obama camp. Yes, we probably will get what we asked for.
