Elizabeth Edwards Calls Rielle Hunter 'Pathetic' in Memoir Resilience
Many of you haven’t read her book Resilience. It isn’t especially kind to him in many ways, and she gives a heart shredding view of the situations of her life that we have no way of understanding except in sound bites and pictures that never explain anything. It is so easy to judge from the surface information that the news organizations give us, but there is so much more here to this woman (who is dying) as well as her husband and family that none of us can fathom.
The news services give only bits and pieces that leave it easy for us to judge and not really know anything about what their lives are like and what drives their moment by moment actions and reactions.
I have come to admire the lady even more after reading this very small book.
How did you find your last job?
I called and introduced myself! I said I was a retired English teacher (not by choice of course!) and could write and would he like me to write a weekly column on discovering Holland (Our fair city!) I spent the next two years doing just that, but then things got bad and the small paper that I was working for went belly up.
I keep trying to sell myself as a writer…but there aren’t many positions these days.
