Do you multitask while driving?

Not if I can help it!

How to Remain a Nobody, by Sybil Adelman Sage

James,

You’ve hit on my very favorite poet and poem!

On the ten-year anniversay of the death of John F. Kennedy, his wife, and his sister-in-law, how do you remember JFK Jr.?

Kermie, they don’t proof newspaper articles at all any more, and that’s true in many magazines as well.  The idea that editors use to do that has totally disappeared…frustrating.

When we lose any young person to death it seems such a loss of potential that might have changed his/her corner of the world.

Have you changed your opinion of Sonia Sotomayor since the start of her confirmation hearings?

I agree James.  It seems like it is already a done deal and there has been little new information that has come from these hearings.

Ladies, Think Twice About Taking Hormone Replacement Therapy for Menopause

Though I understand the risks, my siblings and I lived through a mother who had none after she had a hysterectomy back in the 60s by a foreign born doctor.  She had many awful ups and downs physically along with an emotion roller coaster that made her impossible to live.  When she finally got hormones we all saw the immediate change in her health.

I had it when I began perimenopause in my midthirties I also experienced severe depression and was put on hormones as well.  It was a life saver! My doctor took me off of it after a few years when things seemed to even out.

I am not saying were good or terrible - all I am saying is there are many of us who expereinced something that needed medical help and I hope that the researchers can find something natural and much less dangerous because it was miserable wihout the hormones.

Wish I could help, but I drive - my husband is the map guy!  James?

Announcing the Winner of Our 'Caption This' Contest

Yea, I made it there, thanks for the notice!  It was a nice surprise for me as well to see it there when I opened up the WOWWOW site this afternoon. (My grandfather smoked them to and died young from lung cancer too.)

Yup!  Love M6 for going anywhere on the East side of the state!!  I94 was going way South and took much longer!  It was an easy drive and we did it in about 2 and 1/2 going and a little longer coming back.  There really were few pot holes on our route which was fabulous!

The days are lovely, but I agree the nights have been a bit cool lately.  But that was nice on Saturday on our trip to and from Ann Arbor for a family pig roast.  We left early in the morning and by the time I was driving home I was extremely tired and was thankful for the cold!
