maybe it’s because she promotes civil discourse and i usually agree with her that i find rachel maddow refreshing AND cogent. as far as i can tell, she isn’t in the bashing business, but she is in the business of making sense.

i love it that our president is engaged in communicating and listening with foreign journalists and leaders. knowing the facts is the first step toward addressing them.

de burca, if you get past the labels, you find that gillibrand has some good positions on the issues. wherever wow got the thing about her being anti gay marriage, i read today that she is totally pro gay marriage. i would have preferred carolyn maloney for the senate seat, but then i am not a resident of new york. on most issues i suspect that she will support cloture when necessary, and she is for bringing the troops home. give her a chance.
