My Comments (16 so far…)

It's been 19 years since the protests in Tiananmen Square. What do you think about China today?

Gayle Turner 4-20-08 10:42 pm I remember what I was doing the day Tiananmen Square happened—getting a set of tires on my car. My first trip to China was 1988 to compete in the First Women’s Golf Championship of the People’s Republic of China. I returned 2 more times to compete in this event. The Chinese were very gracious, and welcomed us each time, however, we were always aware of the armed guards around the golf course. China is a different world, and has a work ethic like none other. Tiananmen Square was a red flag warning. I’m sure they have a 50 year plan just waiting for us around 2035. The Dragon will breath fire for sure… .

Feet of Clay in a Roman à Clef?!

Gayle Turner 4/19/08 9:16pm Yes, I would like to know how to change from Gayle Turner to Ms Gayle, let us know how to do this….Ms Gayle

I Read the News Today, Oh Boy: Pot Shots at a Possible First Lady!

Gayle Turner 4/18/08 11:40 am Hillary Clinton is the first woman running for the highest office in our great nation. Walking into the biggest mess in history, taking on the good old boys club. It will take more than tin to get this ball rolling—-perhaps titanium. We don’t really know her as a person. Chelsey Clinton is a wonderful loving daughter, and The Clinton’s did a great job parenting. No one deserves the hostility that the press, public, and some Republican’s have served up these past years. We had better all get together, because the future of this country, and life as we’ve known it is changing by the day. Clinton, Obama, McCain, may the winner get the support of every person in this great country.

A Blueprint and Outline for Changing the World

Gayle Turner 4/17/08 10:45 pm Change the World—Let’s make a difference —Whatever. If everyone just did one thing a day—like. Turn water off when brushing your teeth, random acts of kindness, drive the speed limit & use your turn signels, buy things you need-more than want. Get involved with a local charity for one day a week, or month. Take time to talk with a friend when you know they are depressed, and let them know you care. Say,” I love you” to the people you love. Well, you can figure out what works for you. Good luck.

A Blueprint and Outline for Changing the World

Gayle Turner 4/17/08 10:36 pm Amen BGmom, I agree and look forward to intelligent, possitive communication. We have lots of work to do, and wowowow is a perfect venue.

'We Just Don't Elect Presidents We Don't Like'

Gayle Turner 4/17/08 11:05 pm I just finished listening to the PA. Debate. I think Hillary did a great job, and came out winner. I would like to see a woman in the White House, and think she would be a good president— maybe great. I have this feeling that McCain will win if he selects the right V.P. I would consider voting for him if his choice is Mick Romney. I’m a confused Democrat—I think we have been in this election process to long. Obama just doesn’t have enough experience. Hillary is my first pick—-then??

Helen Mirren: 'Awards Are Wonderful ... But They Are Not the Main Course'

Gayle Turner 4/15/08 11:31 am Loved the interview. Helen Mirren is #1 in the world of acting, as well as, being a lovely woman. She is beautiful, honest, and very very funny. I look forward to any roll she plays—she can do it all. Especially, “Love Ranch” will be a real challenge. Like I said, “Helen can do it all”.

What advice would you give to a 21-year-old woman?

Gayle T. 4/13/08 11:18 pm Surround yourself with smart, fun, & intelligent people. Take care of your health, and never loose your self-respect. Tell the truth even if it’s difficult, and be a person of your word. Make it a habit to be punctual.

Have You Ever Met An Angel?

Gayle Turner 4/12/08 4:53 pm Angel’s have been with me since birth. I look back and wonder how come I’m still here?? I believe my angel had a name (angel courage). When I was 19 years old I decided I wanted to travel. Well, I did and found myself in real hot water, and on my way to being sold into white slavery. The road was dark and I just happen to be in a car with the devil. I looked over and saw lights—perhaps a town??? I said, “Would you pull over I want to get out of this car”, He said, “#$*&^&^@,”, and I knew I was in trouble!!! The car came to a screaming halt, he got out—I got out, and suddenly a car pulled up behind us.. It was the State Highway Patrol—I said, “I want to go with you, and get away from this person”. The W.S.H.P. took me, and my belongings about 5 miles to the East—Oskosh, Wisconsin. Two days later I was on my way back home.

What Happens to Us After We Die?

Ms. G. 4/11/08 11:41pm Well I was baptized & confirmed a morman when I was 10 years old. The last time I attended church was 1956. I have been going to the Methodist Church with a little old lady (I give her a ride), she’s 93. I haven’t read the Book of Morman, or the Bible, because I don’t believe it’s completely accurate, and truthful. To many people (men) have been playing with the story. I think we all come from a different planet, and when we die a soul ship (UFO) comes down—takes our soul, and returns it to the Home Planet to be recycled into another person. Then depending on how good you have been here on earth you will be placed on another planet for another attempt to get it right. GOOD NIGHT. MS.G.

Are the goings-on within polygamist sects any of our business? Should they be monitored? By whom?

Gayle Turner 4/11/08 11:30am How can anyone sit around letting women and children be the subjects of demented, perverted, men. The young girl making the phone call definitely made the most dangerous decision in her life. If it takes years this group must be removed from our society —forever. Bless those who are making the effort. Ms. G.

Who Is She?

Gayle Turner, Sacramento, CA 4/10/08 12:45 pm I would get real with the following thoughts. How old are you? Do you need to get a job? Would you receive a big enough settlement to live on your own? Get a good woman/man attorney, and make sure they don’t know your Bart. Move on to a positive life for yourself, and children. You can give him another chance—if your nuts. Gayle

How do you feel about Iraq right now? What is your biggest fear, and what is your biggest hope?

Gayle Turner, Sacramento CA 12:20pm 4/10/08 Well, after reading many of the above—I still confused, however, believe we are being used ( and weakened). If we don’t get real we will not have our country, as we would like to remember it. The only thing they have known for centuries is war on each other. We should ease out, let them do their thing, and start drilling of the coast of Alaska, as well as, telling Mexico we will be their only market for oil. Bit the bullet, and come home to clean up the mess we have here in the good old USA. Gayle Turner

'Ann Richards Is With Us in Spirit; She Can Never Die'

12:30 pm 4/9/08 I’m thrilled about this new venue for expressing our opinions, feelings, and thoughts. Now about Ann Richards—If one has a choice to become another person—it was mine to be Ann Richards. I found myself glued to her every word. She was funny, charming, brilliant, and a wonderful person. Gayle, Sacramento, CA
