My heart told me I loved him and I didn’t care if I was the older woman robbing the cradle as people called it (I don’t think 8.5 years is cradle robbing!). But the social stigma existed 27 years ago and I was talked about for years in our community. My own father disowned me. Why did anyone question my actions? No one knew what my heart was telling me. But I knew. And furthermore, my life was no one’s business. As I always said: “if they are talking about me, at least they are giving some other poor soul a break!”

OH boo hoo…..she wants out because she is sick. Deal or No Deal is the question. I’m sure her victim begged for her life, but this Atkin woman reined supreme as the judge and the jury. “Death” she ruled. And two lives were zapped ….. a woman’s and a baby’s. Let her now beg for her life on the outside….and may the answer be “no deal”.

RE: By ki b on 06/19/2008 2:22 am ki b….. sigh….Asheville is my most favorite city. I want to move there and maybe one of these days I will. I love the quaint feel of the city and Malaprops is tops for out of print books. Besides that the Biltmore Estate is probably the most perfect site to visit.

I am a pack-rat. I still have the pink and gray plaid coat I wore when I was three years old. And I even have a picture of me and old St. Nick…and yes, I’m wearing that coat! Lordy that picture and the coat are as old as a pyramid…well, almost as old.

Whooooa! I ‘m a cougar and proud of it. My younger man is just tops! I got him young and raised him the way I wanted him to be. Grooooooowwwwwwl! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Even though I hate to degrade any nation of people, but these fellas scare the bejeebies out of me. I think I remember they played a huge huge part in the oil embargo in the early 1970’s. We are playing into their hands…..just like a scared fluffy little bunny rabbit. They are not our friends….but they are friends of our enemies. We have to walk the walk of egg shells. The majority of the 9-11 terrorists were Saudis. And the Saudis funnel money to Al Qaeda and we are well aware of it. Why do we even want to dance with the wolves.? They don’t even bother wearing sheep’s clothing!

When I was really poor, raising two daughters on my own, sometimes my grocery money didn’t extend to being able to buy toilet paper. Since when can anyone live without toilet paper? So I would go to the huge local hospital with my small duffel bag and go to several of the public restrooms and gather my much needed supply of toilet paper rolls. We were always careful and only used the bare minumum and I always confessed my sins. Over the years I’m sure this hospital has many times stolen from me….uhhhhhhhhh I mean overcharged me enough to make up for that reasonably small number of toilet paper rolls.

When I was a kid, we ate the organs of the animal. Being a farmer’s daughter…..we ate everything…..liver, heart, sweetbreads, kidneys (ick), brains,.etc….. Us youngins were kind of backward and not exposed to big city life. So when the term “organics” emerged, we all thought it meant the organs of the animal. Yep we ate lots of organics. And we spread cow manure too. So when I learned the real meaning of Organics, I found it wasn’t so healthy eating all of those animal organs. Then I thought for a while. We always spread manure on our garden and I do to this day. I think that’s a part of growing organically. So I guess I still am eating organic foods….just differently than my younger days. In the farming communities in the midwest, these organically grown items are more plentiful and cheaper….at least in the growing season.

hmmmmmmmm…… While caffeine may be ok for some people…..if your cardiologist or doctor tells you to limit your caffeine or to not drink it at all……people please listen to your doctor and not some article written by someone who doesn’t know your health history. Rant over.

hmmmmmm…… I wonder if I could get a sexy looking garter belt to wear with these snazzy looking compression hose I am required to wear???!!??!!?? I can just see that belt now…..the garters reaching down below my knees.
