woWowow what a topic! If I had money to invest I would ask Joni for her sisters number! I should say when I have money to invest. Fascinating the different relationships we have with money . I have not been a person with money, ever. We were poor growing up in different projects, like many others, till they bought a house in flatbush, bklyn. For most of my life I hated money! Money hungry people, grrrr, materialism! grrrr So as the years went on I had no money. Why would money come to me if I pushed it away. I mellowed as the years drew on, and I got used to the finer things in life. I learned that I had better start respecting money. Then I had to make some money. I did my life backwards. I was a stay at home mom, then the kids left on their own, became a retired stay at home mom. I was an empty nester. I started painting, did some art shows. I wrote a screenplay, cathartic as it was. After being in an unhappy married life for many years I wanted out of my marriage desperately. And I still haven’t made it on my own. I did get a divorce but, like so many other couples, we are still living in the same house. I really need to be successful on my own! It has been hard for me to move a mountain with no support. When every body says you can’t! I recently started an internet drop-ship company with inexpensive home decor named, undersell home goods dot com. I have been working on this business for a few months now. I do it all myself. I wanted to invest in a business for myself with what little I had. It took me years to figure out how to make money on the internet, and I hope I found it. I have a great marketing company behind me. I decided to invest in myself, in my own dream. My dream of being independent, and maybe living a little.

Yup, fifty is the new 16. LOL I admire the material girl! I wish I could have known her when we were all still club hopping in manhattan.

When I first saw her on American Bandstand I knew she would be BIG! You go girl!

You can have your values, but, you cannot force them on others. To be a President for abortion rights, is what we need. There are so many different circumstances for which a woman may seek to have an abortion. Bad enough they have to go to places which are horrible. I know of one woman who had to go to an abortion clinic when to her horror, her baby died in her womb, and she was treated with distain even at the clinic. The baby was dead in her womb for gods sake! There are so many other reasons for keeping our right to an abortion. For different circumstances, so it is legal, not illegal. Keeping it legal is not to make it easy. It is just to keep it legal.

As a fellow Leo, we are cursed with the need for attention. To be the big honcho. To be the center of attention. We just know that the Universe revolves around us. I was always told that I was an actress, full of drama. “Jeanette is acting again, my father would sing, here she is, miss america!” I was always ripping the curtains off the window to wrap around me, playing the part of an Arabian beauty I saw in the movie, Ali Babba and the Forty Thieves. As us Leo’s get older, and are passed up for younger more attractive lioness’s, we can despair. That is when we work-out till we have muscles like a man, face-lifts til we look like a cat, and stalk our own reflections in the windows as we pass them by. Yes, we are cursed. Me, more so than you. At least you have an audience, me, I have four walls. No fame nor fortune for me. No sexy outfits to prance around in, nope, no curtains, no big money for me, no Kabbalah fame for me, nope. Nothing for me. Me, me, me! See? It’s a curse. LOL

My father, and I would sometimes debate whether she should have asked this, or that question. She always asked the questions everyone else was thinking, but was afraid to ask. She had a lot of chutzpah? Looking forward to the interview!

I am told that I have a good eye for taking pictures. I love to take creative pictures of people. So I dress up my grandchildren, and take pictures. I made a few talk shows with one of my granddaughters, Nicole, , and posted it on U-tube however, I am acting like a real nut. But, that is the fun of it. My picture here was taken by my daughter after she did a make over on me. She is good because this is one of the better pictures. (I did a tiny touch up under one eye, hey an instant eye job, free!)) My friends were always younger so I felt protective, but not territorial. I’d rather they have other friends. Friends are hard to come by. I have no friends. No one close to talk to about anything really. I talk to myself, and I talk on a few communities online where I have been a member for many years. I do have a neighbor who I take walks with sometimes. I just asked her if she wants to go out a few nights a week. There is a coffee house that has entertainment, poetry readings, open mic. That would be fun. I think we are easy, casual friends. But, as far as a friend who is there for you? Naw, I don’t believe it. It seems everyone is out for something. Or, they think you are.

If only Brittany Spears would say something about it, maybe they would listen?

Wowee wowwow Joni? I am humbled that I am actually here with you. I have followed, and admired you for many years. Every time I saw you on TV my ears perked, and it was always an interesting discussion. You Rock!

Thank you Cynthia! I’m really looking forward to seeing the report tonight! I am always looking for answers to the worlds problems, and love to see how creative, and caring people are. This is one small but, very big solution for the people in Rwanda.

While flipping through the channels one night, I heard a spokesman for the Modern Messiah Matraiya Buddha, Benjamin Creme say that it is only when countries with enough food to feed the world, simply do so. And stop with the sanctions, and corrupt politicians that is in all countries. Only then will we have peace on earth, he said, and I tend to agree with that. People who are blessed with money should do something like organize on going “feed the world” concerts. I also would love to do something like become rich ;>} so I can give more!
