Over the years, I’ve down-sized to the bare essentials in my purse (phone, wallet, lipstick, pen & note pad, perfume and aspirin). However, on Friday, I also needed to carry my tote file. So in an effort to remain light on my feet, I placed my wallet in the tote and eliminated the purse. The problem was that when I left for the store later that night with my purse, yep, you guessed it (no wallet - no money) ……….. the funny thing was that I DIDN’T leave the house without my Blackberry! Yes, I’m one of “those” people ……… a “Crack-berry”!

Hi Frannie Em! Thank you, as always, you are a delightful soul on this blog. My reason for limited commentary? …….. less is more ……… or rather, I pick my battles wisely here at Wow ………. real dialog takes a hike like a turtle takes to it’s shell around here ……….. barking in defense of one’s position serves an empty plate.

Okay, I just have to say something about tonight’s debate …… it was a good debate, a bit lack-luster …. all of the pre-debate hype ……… both VP candidates did well ……. a draw …… but if you watched the post-debate commentary on NBC …….. Peggy Noonan said …. and I quote ……… “She killed”!….. Go Peggy Noonan, Go! That’s all the commentary that I will offer on this ……. I promise!

……….. let it begin with “right here, right now” …………. I write this in honor of my Mother who was finally able to free herself from the violence on September 6, 1991. She remains free of it to this very day!

Kermie …… My condolences on the loss of your friend ………. Thank you for sharing this with us. Stress is a vindictive condition that lashes out when you least expect it. Stress combined with sleep deprivation is also a very dangerous cocktail. This is a growing health concern for women of all ages …….

I had the pleasure of knowing several eccentric “old ladies” ………… by far they’ve been the most enlightening and interesting!

I eat red meat most everyday …….. as did my grandparents ……… they lived into their 80’s ……….. Moderation was the key …….. vegetables or a green salad with every helping.

That I will continue to thirst for knowledge ………….

I voted “other” ……… Why? There is a clear conflict of interest ……. His relationship to Sachs-Goldman did not end merely because he’s no longer employed with them. His loyalty to the industry itself should have made him ineligible for his current position as head of the US Treasury Department. How does that saying go? ……..
