The Happy Birthday Jane Wagner Reader Forum

All my life, I always wanted to be somebody. Now I see that I should have been more specific. ~ Jane Wagner Little did Gideon Morris know when he stood and gazed across that expanse of Tennessee soil, that came to bear his name, that a multifaceted, incredibly cute, blindingly bright, miracle of a girl, would spring from loins of the city, called Morristown. Painter, sculptor, pianist, actress, textile designer, oh who can forget those fabulous “Teach Me, Read Me” bed sheets?! The incomparable Wagner, Jane, Director, Creative Consultant, Executive Producer and Writer of books, movies, plays, and teleplays casts an unmatched shadow of starlight, dancing wide and strong, Along the way, tossed her way have been awards, aplenty: The “Annie” award; The Writer’s Guild Award; Six Emmy nominations, Three Emmys; New York Drama Critics’ Circle Special Award; Two Peabody Awards; a New York Drama Desk Award; Cable Ace Award; San Francisco International Film Festival; Three Grammy nominations and Two Sundance Film Festival Awards. Ms. Wagner has cut her own magical, mystical life path, along with her life partner, the lovely lilting Lily Tomlin. They have blessed us with their genius. They have graced us with their prescence and they have made us laugh and cry til our souls filled and our sides split. Jane Wagner along with Lily Tomlin, Allee Willis, and BUBBLES the artist produced the wondermous delight known as the Lily Tomlin website: Jane and Lily, these magical women and their careers in art, text, photos and videos can be accessed here just follow the spaceship!

Liz Peek: Stock Market Gives Obama’s First Month An 'F'

The latest NYT poll agrees with the recent Gallup & ABC/WaPo Polls: A majority of people surveyed in both parties said Mr. Obama was striving to work in a bipartisan way, but most Americans faulted Republicans for their response to the president, saying the party had objected to the $787 billion economic stimulus plan for political reasons. Most Americans said Mr. Obama should pursue the priorities he campaigned on, the poll found, rather than seek middle ground with Republicans. … …About three-quarters of those polled, including 61 percent of Republicans, said Mr. Obama has been trying to work with Republicans. But only 3 in 10 Americans said Republicans are doing the same, with 63 percent saying that Republicans opposed the economic stimulus package primarily for political reasons rather and policy concerns.

Republican Senator: Ginsburg Could Be Dead in 9 Months

Thank you! Henry! What a great name. He looks exactly like his name is Henry. Truly a dog of the finest qualities, just like his friend Ms. Dee, who is greatly admired by many many people, including me!

Republican Senator: Ginsburg Could Be Dead in 9 Months

Ahhhh! Thanks. Perhaps I didn’t close my link properly. I will pay better attention in the future. Love the puppy!!!!

Yes, new avatar! That is the Tiffany’s Helmet (hard hat) I made for wearing, when reading or posting at wow. It keeps large, sharp objects (and small insignificant ones) from killing my brain cells. Extra protection is provided by “cat” the “no name” anonymous blogger and Holly Go Lightly and her sleep mask. One must protect the precious eyes, while here!

I have no idea why that is blue. Or maybe it is only blue on computer.

Well shoot! Another 5 minutes out of my life wasted reading irrelevant columnists.

Obama Administration Launches Website to Follow Stimulus Trail (Video)

You misunderstand me. I am not referring to either party. I am speaking to the fact, that we as a Nation have always been in the dark about what is actually going on in our government. This is not a party line issue for me. There will be better and better people elected from both parties, if we have all have a better understanding and are more involved in where our money goes, in what does and doesn’t work. We need both parties and we need good and honest representatives from both parties, along with hands on involvement by an informed and curious public to make our government strong and viable.

I am excited about this new Government site. I feel like so many Americans don’t really know anything about our government, about where our money goes, what works and doesn’t work, who deals with it responsibly and who doesn’t. I don’t how much I will be able to grasp and learn from the site, as it is updated. Younger people with eyes that get less tired, will see a lot more and learn a lot more. So I am not just excited about being able to be more informed and involved, but I am really jazzed that the up-and-coming generation, will be more involved and informed about government. They can see what is working and what isn’t, how it happens and where it can be improved. The single biggest problem we have as a nation, is being so dreadfully uninformed. about the real day to day workings of our country and our government. We have been always spoon fed information, which more often than not, resembles propaganda rather than facts. I will be able to track the jobs created in my state and see if they match with the projected jobs created. Since I live in a Republican state and the progress will be reported by my Republican Governor who is one of the few Governors who says we don’t need any money, I will be interested to see the process and progress of the monies in our state. I am going to hold off any opinion, as to my Governor, state congress critters and the stimulus, until I see if they handle the money well and if so, does it do, what it is supposed to do.

Joan Juliet Buck's Beef With the Media

And it is delicioso! here I am pouring you a tiny little virtual china cup of thick and chocolaty coffee goodness. hmmm Virtual: “that which is not real” but may display the full qualities of the real. Colloquially, ‘virtual’ is used to mean almost, , “That’s virtually [almost] impossible. So how does that translate to virtuous or to virtue? Virtual · Virtual reality · Augmented reality · Augmented virtuality · Projection augmented model As I suspected, virtue is a ‘created state of mind’. ha! ha! ha! ha!

Nicely said! I like it so much, I think I shall go drop a little bittersweet chocolate into my coffee and then read it again, while I sip, slowly, savoring.

Marlo Thomas: All Hands on Deck to Repair 'Reckless' Bush Nation

The more you talk to him and his ilk, the more he and his ilk will post. The more attention you give tantrums and the stupid, the more there will be, tantrums and the stupid, to get attention. The choice is ours. We can choose to encourage it such behavior, or not. But we should at least acknowledge that we are in fact, knowingly, encouraging it. I’m just sayin…
