Well, I’ve never had a mammogram and I’m close enough to 70 to not worry about it. When they first came out and I heard my lady friends who rushed off to get theirs tell their stories at the Bridge table I thought, “Well here’s one gal who won’t have that done to me until they have a test that slam bams the penis like a pancake.” And I’ve stuck to my guns. This said I was born with 5 great grandparents and a slew of great Aunts and Uncles and no one died of cancer. I’ve also never eaten the fortified foods and all the flavorings and never carbonated drinks, and never had a vitamin. I cook from scratch. So I only recommend not having a mammogram for me. The third highest cause of death in the U.S.A. is medically induced deaths from over medicated and wrongly medicated. The U.S.A. in health is 37th in the world. This has gone down by 36 since my youth. We used to be number one. This said the thing I am most afraid of is the Doctor’s brain! Doctor’s are rarely anymore scientists but way overpaid technicians. The medical school is pretty much corporate owned. Only the rich can get into med school. Oh the young people I’ve met along the way that couldn’t get in because of money who would have been wonderful physcians. But the game the game! They don’t know you really, haven’t been to your home to see how you live, don’t see you at the park with your kids, or at church or temple or mosque. They aren’t in the neighborhoods of the community anymore and are in gated communites with all their little gated minds. Since we outsourced the importance of the ‘family doctor’ who made with you 99% of the decisions on your life and we went to the specialist industry our health life has gone down. Yup the Doctor’s brain is the medical procedure that most scares me! And the medical arrogance. I’m a client gawdammit it, not a patient! I won’t play by the system of ‘hierarchy’, —it’s killin’ us in everything. I’m tellin’ ya, ya can learn a lot by whom you have for dinner and conversation. Doctors, lawyers. and engineers are low level at the art of conversation. We’ve done gone down a long way since Gramma, the mid-wife, the community herbalogist, and the family doctor G.P.
