A Blueprint and Outline for Changing the World

Huge graphics and color schemes may take away from content and easy readability and surfing. Surfing on this site takes an enormous amount of time in all the page download steps. Again, I think the K.I.S.S. theory is a good thing.

What do men not know about women?

My statement that men can’t know who they are until women know who they are themselves was intended to be thought provoking. Obviously I’m thinking about it myself. However this is meant to be thought provoking on a very deep level, not so shallow as to indicate ‘…men can’t do this for themself… But then again we get away from the deep questions, the deep knowing of what the ‘feminine’ intelligence is by reverting to gender specific in 2008 possibly? I wonder if what men need to know about women is what women might need to know about themselves, and most don’t, and until they do men can’t know about women, or themselves completely. And even possibly that the right work of the planet can’t be done until the identity crisis of the feminine and masculine intelligence between the sexes is investigated beyond sexuality and gender? Hey, my emote button is off, and I’m just a wonderin’.

What do men not know about women?

My my. I just read 20 pages of a question I never got into. The observation is a hoot! The character of Mark Klein, M.D. opened Pandora’s Box of showing the very worst of feminine behavior I think. In communication theory as to interactional communication, the # 1 barrier to effective communication is a term the theorists call ‘hypersensitivity’. Mark Klein’s early remarks caused an explosion of ‘hypersensitivity’ in bashing his opinions, justifying one’s own gender’s behavior, throwing back past male behavior, and the whole gambit of misfiring in communication. Mark Klein actually made statements about women, their behavior, and their performance in differnet ways that have been observable. If the question had been reversed we could probably see the same reaction from males. As a result, of the ‘hypersensitivity’ we got a bunch of babbling and bantering didn’t we. And I wonder? Can men know anything about women when very possibly most women don’t know what it really means to be a woman, and most men won’t know what it really means to be a man until women seriously take themselves as a ‘self’ within a portfolio of roles —who and what they are exactly? Hum? I wonder again? How it might have been different if someone had asked Mark Klein, M.D. instead: What do you mean exactly, at each of his points? As a woman I personally think most women are scared to death to know who they are and what it means and the responsibility to it and the unbridled power of it. Any debaters on this out there?

When did you start feeling comfortable in your own skin?

I’m rendered speechless by Render’s post. I remember that booster stool my gramps made for me for the sink and lookin’ in the mirror and seeing a girl kid seein’ a dirty face and a messy bob cut, from fun outdoors stuff. that my Mom expected me to fix for the dinner table, whatever that meant. I’m tryin’ to imagine what it must be like to look and see myself as a minority kid whose browness has served to point to the most evil within the human race. And how much more, I wonder, would we have become embracin’ all our Sisters and Brothers? Render I hope you can stand back and understand where your Mom was comin’ from. She just wanted to see her Grandchildren go through less. I know, my gawd my gawd. But, the shoes she walked in, ya know? She just thought the pain would be less. I have a friend Render who is as white as this ole Italian crone but has African American hair full features and native American cheek bones and a bit o Asian yellow to her skin, as I do, and she is also Irish. Her Mom also encouraged the marry white yada yada for probably all the same reasons as your Mom. Now in her early 50’s she’s wears her hair in corn and not doin’ all the straightening stuff. And her hair is beautiful and like a piece of art work everytime I see her with the options and creativity she has! She is about 5 ft. 10 and regal and now is wearin’ wrappings that reflect the colors and patterns and styles of African design and she is simply eloquent and I am envious! Yeh, and she doesn’t crack! Whata pay back that is!

Suzanne: That wasn’t my line of work actually. However I happened upon ythis so to say with no understanding of geriatrics actually or nursing, yada yada. However I had a lot of experience in management, and designing the human systems needed for the specific thing. In my judgement what was needed was a lifestyle program that attended to the lifestyle of the people involved in relation to quality of life with the new limitations to options. I hid anything that looked hospital/nursing and brought it back to a home with flowers visitors activities food smells and spousal arguments and naturally allowed for the last stage of lifing, —the deathing. The sad thing about this is for a 5 year period this drained this couple of all their money and the nephew had to chip in. He was very wealthy. However my salary and that of my staff was what would need to be charged of anyone. There was no inflation due to this family’s income. So anyone needing 24/7/365 care at home would cost about $100 to 120 thousand a year out of pocket. The problem with the so called ‘home health agencies’ is they pay poorly to their staffs. The staff are trained to medical only as to lifing and pumpin’ out the pharms. Often they are angry and even untrustworthy. These are the reasons the family reached out to other options. But you and I would’nt have this option. And this speaks to the sickness of the economy. The economy is so state based. By this I mean almost all positions out there are somehow related to the ‘state’ and state policies and mandates that make it impossible for people to choose the assisst they wish for as to the wellness, education, of any member of their family. Anyway Suzanny (gawd I love that!) my major is human communication: theory and systems of anyway humans have, do, and may in the future communicate and who, what, why, where, when and sometimes how. It’s theory, surveying all forms of communicating and communications systems from anthropology to media. In beteen are all your social sciences. But if I has to look at what has made me a systems person and an organizational person it would have to be creative programs for the community in working with other young men and women in my 20s’ and early 30’s through the New York State Jayncees and Jaycees. A national organization that taught leadership training through community service. Nothin’ like hands on experience and the fallin’ and flyin’. But, back in the 70’s and women wanted to break into all men’s organizations (the Jayncees were a very active subsidary of the Jaycees) and they went out to work in groves and in our geographical area both organizations are almost unheard of noiw. What a right of passage it was for young adults. You had to leave by 36! Boy the stuff we got done! I remember how we got violent cartoons off T.V. Haha, who’d think of this today?

Whoopi Goldberg to Dr. Laura: Are You Crazy? Don't Blame Eliot Spitzer's Wife

But I ask you Suzanne, is it necessary that sex be a part of intimacy instead of a natural exercisin’ of the body parts? There are societies that do this and have no psychology and religion thus possession attached to sexual release. It is just that —release. Can we be wrong? Is it possible to possession and psychology and possession as to sexuality are intended to repress us? Can you imagine, not open marriage, but what I suggested within’ a Spa type institution for both sexes? I would also consider ‘infidelity’ against the law. By infidelity here I mean having sexual activity outside the marriage and the Spa institution. No no no to the neighbor office boy or girl, etc. With a system like this there should be almost no reason aside violence that families need to break up —almost. Learn to be friends, partners, parents, —committed to the raising of the family and community. Whadaya think girl? Men are just so so different. Also why is it we expect the sexual need expfression to be the same for each partner? Men have been tryin’ forever to tell us that sex is more of a necessary release for them and we shouldn’t take sex so seriously, outside marriage. However, as you, I can not support the idea of ‘open marriage’. I’ve seen several couples from your age group that did this and all ended up divorced and kids confused. The Family needs to be grounded somehow. And I wonder if sophistigation is like takin’ one step frontwards and two steps backwards. I think the way we think about human sexuality is way wrong. Your turn!

Suzzanne: Took me about 20 min. to find it. First Conversations page 2. Then the spitzer conversation, then hit 9, get to 9 and see the pages continued, then click 14. Gawd gawd. This is gettin’ too complicated as to wasted time in surfin’! Need a K.I.S.S.(keep it simple stupid) system of search. I can get the foundation for a whole essay done in the time it takes to search one thing. Maybe and hopefully it is just growin’ paons and they’ll find a system’s person who can get search easy.

Bears, Bulls, Chickens and Pigs: Economic Slowdown? Bring it On!

Neat Suzanne. Well I did that. Shirley and Glenda, and Linda. and Millie, and Mary, and Betty, and a Cal and Jay would often stop by also to discuss the issues of the community and world. We were in our 20’s and 30s’. All belonged to one community organization or another and each would attend either the school board meetings or the Village meetings, or the Town meetings. But a lot of what happened to make a safe secure community happened right there at the kitchen table that kept a pot on at all times. Then we told our daughters to go out and be CEOs, doctors, lawyers, pilots, business owners, and they did and forgot just what the things were that got them there and forgot how to cook, raise children, keep a home, and watch dog a community. Poor things got convinced they could have it all at once and they think they did it without that human touch of the daily Coffee Clatch! We were the true Superwomen. We raised our kids and communities and built a strong foundation and then in our late 30’s and 40’s took all that thinkin’ and debatin’ and organizational experience out to the world. Suzanne I did a piece on the ‘Spitzer Question’. I think I’m on page 15. I’d sure appreciate your feed back. A bit controvicial.

A Blueprint and Outline for Changing the World

Oh dear. Here I am standin’ alone as to the suggested outline or format. First the graphics were difficult on older eyes. Second I think it sounds like a buch of elitist fluff and has no balls or boobs. This is to say isn’t it all pink and cutsey with about a 30 thread count in its warp? Okay, hit me.

Bears, Bulls, Chickens and Pigs: Economic Slowdown? Bring it On!

Let’s pretend Liz. But first let’s remember Senator Obama’s statement concernin’ the small towns disenfranchised from the marketplace by their treasure chest of home and U.S.A.an industry bein’ gobbled up from under them with no warnin’ or the government re-establishin’ any system to help ‘em out except the ‘dole’, minimum wage, and one or more part-time jobs. These were and are the engineers, technitions, and skilled labor for those things that made America great once like family owned agri-business and manufacturing concerns. Great female jobs with phone and utility companies, all gone. In fact almost all the good woman jobs aside from law, medicune, and jobs the state or federal government regulate have been taken down or out. Keep these folk in mind as you read this and I will mention them again at the end. Now let’s pretend we want to know and understand the system of a great big o Oak tree reachin’ high up to the sky as pretty as can be. Would you try to understand and learn about the systems of this tree from the bottom up or from the top down? Would ya balance your bum on a tippy tippy branch way up high or do a bear hug to the trunk as high up as you can get? Then look down? It’s that lookin’ down isn’t it that just tipped the stomach? We’ve been conditioned to be afraid to look down haven’t we? Down suggest fallin’ so we don’t look down. Down is scary scary boogieman stuff. And when we cross the bridges to the market place in our comfy cars we don’t look down. And when we get outta the cars and walk to the highrise office we don’t look down. We intellectualize the homeless and who they are and the jobless and why they are jobless and we make politically correct statements that these ‘less’ fortunate folk must be considered. But we don’t look down, because we are afraid if we look at ‘em we’ll fall. So we intellectualize and speculate and never internalize meaning. So a whole lot can be left outta our understanding and our seeing by preconceived ideas that just aren’t appropriate when we don’t look down. We determine what the tree is by the top. Now pretend the next scenario. Allow me analogy and metaphor no matter how stifling for the sake of explanation. “I’m a CEO for whomever, but a biggie, in oilanomics and I love capitalism and especially U.S. capitalism because it’s so gawdamn manipulative. Lawyers and legislators are hungry and they love it when we fill-em up and they’ve developed legislative holes bigga enough to sink a well, haha. Oilanomics exists because of Reagan creatin’ those wells and Georgie comin’ along and hijackin’ a pipe line all the way through. We’re slippin’ and slidin’ oil and no one can do a damn thing about it for another 8 mo. and by then we’ll be fine” “Sucker born every minute and that’s how we win. That’s the consumer. The idea of anything that suggests social economics on needs economy causes a sink hole in my investors, and I can’t have that. A political administration that suggests regulatin’ the needs economy (which is always natural resources) pretty much has to be taken out no matter the cost. Most are bought one way or another or directly or indirectly. By the time some know they’ve been bought and betrayed by advisers they trusted it’s too late for them to fix it or come clean without a whole lotta destruction. Ask Jimmy Cater. No room for an honest politician anymore, not that there ever was really. We have our ways.” “But the people can be a problem when they turn inta a mass unit and we see it comin’and we gotta be ahead and lead ‘em over the cliff. Now, what is a problem is these global scientists and the followin’ they’re gettin’ and the new energy idealists comin’ outta the woods all thinkin’ they can fix the planet. Wind, thermo, solar, even some guy who thinks he can store solar in stones! Entrepreneurs from Podunk to Podunka gettin’ together and brainstormin’ and we’re tryin’ to buy ‘em off as quick as we can but it’s gettin’ hard. There’s some ‘purist jerks’ givin’ us a hard time. Gonna have ta get tuff.” But we got our ace in the hole in Georgie for 8 mo. as we speculate and manipulate reasons for the oil to come out at the price of gold. We can blame China and we can blame India and we can do oil spills and oil blow-ups and we can blame the Iraqis and anyone we want as the people buy it, Haha the oil and the spin. As I said, a sucker born every minute and my investors count on it and I create it. That’s my job. And I get paid very very nicely for my efforts.” “Hey we got oil in the ground and the gawdamn planet is goin’ off it? It’s like a treasure chest to us down there! We gotta get ours. So now we just pump up the price, slow down the flow and rake it in to make enough quick megabucks to take over the new energies ’cottage industry’ developin’ from the Podunk to Podunka dumb folk across the country. Gotta get us the re-adjustment investment money to take up the new energies and the money to pay off the politicos to regulate against these ’townie’ upstarts!” “And ain’t all the legislators happy gettin’ all that increased tax from the ‘runaway’ oil prices? Don’t see ‘em cappin’ anything do ya, of any seriousness? Hahah. Everybody’s playin’. Well those who count.” “Now what I mean by this is you got all them market speculators and spinners playin’ the same game.. Their oil wells are the ‘investments’ of the middleclass and lower upperclass folk plannin’ out kid’s education and retirement, haha, and my gawd it is monopoly and play money for these speculators and statititions. Yup sucker born every minute.” “Market adjustments we’ll call it. Worked in the 20’s right up to ‘29 and a few of my investors were right there to be the international heroes and buy up all thought dead stocks and property for ‘bout a nickel on the dollar. Saaaaved America they did and God. Haha. And the spin!” Now let’s go back to that ole Oak tree and tryin’ to understand it’s system from the tippy top. You can’t, too shakey, too subject to changin’ winds, But those folk on the bottom sittin’ and standin’ and layin’ around that ole Oak tree can see the ground and see all the way through to the top because they’re conditioned to look up. They see the roots and the root systems and see the erosion and the dryness of the roots and the ground crackin’ and the water wells and ground tributaries goin’ dry and they see the middle and lower upper branches crackin’ and the tippy toppy with just too much swayin’ to see unobstructed. They see the system is broke. There are no delusions in their viewing. They know if the foundation is goin’ or gone, everything above it will go. And they’re pissed. It didn’t need to be this way. So when Sen. Obama talks about the small towns and inner cities that used to hold so much of our functional and productive economy in the hands and management of its’ peoples —are now bitter and clingin’ to religion and packin’ a gun to protect the little bit they got left, —he knows what he’s talkin’ about. For Senator Clinton to use this to snippet about is either low ballin’ it or she just didn’t look down. These folk are packin’ a gun to make sure that enough of those ground acorns aren’t taken from them and in God they’re trustin’ because they’ve found out they sure couldn’t trust the government or the G-8 multinats. And if the high rise office and professional tenants wearin’ bright red and pin stripes fall, —then that’s their problem. They didn’t watch out for the foundation. In wrap up, right or wrong, the scenario I played out is how masses of people are thinkin’ the system goes. Citicorp and A.T. & T? Merrill Lynch? On the ground small hometown businesses are closin’ up. Their tax base is foldin’. Folk sellin’ homes because of manipulated medical and home damage insurance companies not payin’. Professional and educated men gettin’ downsized or moved and down sized at around 40? Age discrimination to keep down costs beginnin’ in the 40s? Young professional couple rent between their two jobs and each havin’ to travel 40 minutes in different directions to get to their job and now this is $700 per month in gas costs, more than their rent, and a college debt of $53,000 for state schools? Grammas goin’ social services because she only get’s half of former husbands social security and her salary was never up to what a man would get for the same job to have her social security or any pension to be enough. Woman leaves her job as a trained technition for a state mandated developmental center ’group home’ after 21 years to find her total pension is $18,000 to divide up into the rest of her life! A bank floor manager retires at 65 after 30 years to find her social security benefits to be $4 per month more than a woman friend who chose to stay home and not go out to the work force. Another woman leaving the bank 15 years ago in retirement found that the tiny tiny pension and social security were not enough to live on and at 80 years old is cleaning houses? As far as the lower tiers of the ole Oak tree are concerned the women’s movement helped about 10% at the top and repressed the rest of their sisters. Folk bein’ told groceries have gone up 11%? How come their bills have almost doubled within less than a year? What kinda mathmatics is this? Dumbell Curve? We’re told the economy is growin’ by 1.5%? Whoopie, and where? Google and munitions and the Haliburton’s and Backwater’s. The multinats have captured all of ours and almost everyone else’s natural resources for needs economy for profit. They’ve stolen, sleight of hand, what the Godness gave us all. So Liz I suspect there will be all kinds of clever mechanisms done at the tippy top to create the illusion of a fix to the system. But down down on the foundation the roots are uprooted and the groundings are cracked and the waters are dirtied and disappearin’ and the acorns left on the ground are precious, —but oh so bitter on the tongue. So understand the people pretty much think, at this point, the U.S.of A. is bein’ systematically taken out by alotta multinats and the pimpim’ lawyers and prostitutin’ legislators. These disenfranchised are white, black, brown, yellow, red, and vegrtarian as John McCain would say. And many hold college degrees, trades certifications, and have given the sweat of their brows and the blood of their hearts in good work. The problem isn’t their leavin’ their jobs or bein poor or unintelligent workers. Their problem is their jobs left them, low and dry and it’s been a sinister movement. This slide we’re experiencin’ began in about May of 2001. It ain’t just startin’ up. It’s movin’ in, possibly, for a perfect storm. Oh, anyone remember those first middle and workin’ class investors who began investin’ in the 50’s because they believed in America and their responsibility to plan for their retirement? They fought in WW11 and Korea and the Mamas raised the children and watch dogged the communities settin’ the foundation for our social structure? The ones still alive are losin’ thousands on those investments, and to old to recoup.

Whoopi Goldberg to Dr. Laura: Are You Crazy? Don't Blame Eliot Spitzer's Wife

Is it time we took possession, psychology, and church outta sexuality? Dr. Laura. Oh blah blah. Aren’t we lookin’ at society to see all the experts and all the costs and all the institutionalizing of supposedly human rights have gotten us nothin’ but a whole lotta wrongs? Were we created without the equipment to think and problem solve for ourselves with a little help from family and friends whom love us, and certainly to do this for our own children and help those of our family and friends with their children? My gawd my gawd! Let me tell a story b/f I get into the nitty gritty you all wanna bite into and roll around with. The good man was in his 90’s with some dementia after bein’ given Haldol automatically at the hospital to manage behavior for a broken hip. His head was fine before. Yup folk, be there 24 hrs. The staff, in NYS anyway, can do this without Dr. order as a matter of routine. Anyway he was a millionaire with a wife and no children but a nephew who watched out for them. I had loaned him an afghan of mine for his lap. My favorite one actually. He loved it and when ‘present’ would mention it over and over in wonder at how it could keep him warm with all the holes in it. I was pleased as could be. I was in charge of developing a quality lifestyle program and the hiring and training of a staff for 24 hr/7. Soon a staff person realized that under MY afgahan he was having onemanship parties, a couple of times a day. He’d smile and ask for help in clean-up. It was his favorite too. One staff person threatened to turn him into the police for sexual harrassment. She was very soon gone. This frightened him unbelievably. Off to Yale with his nanny in the early 1900’s, debutante society, auditorium in his childhood home for entertainers and lecturers coming through, to entertain family and friends. Family business an international company before we even knew there was such a thing. Society scandal was conditioned into him to never cause. Yes, he was frightened, and as I say this staff person was gone quickly and he was reassured not such a thing would happen. Life goes on. I developed a massage and P.T. program appropriate for him. I developed house duties for him to do that were appropriate for him, and paid him. I created from scratch a diet of high flavor and high nutrition in a consentrate way that allowed about 12 pounds of fruit and veggies in his tummy every week. Which I might add eraced most of his macular degeneration and he could read again and a considerable amount of his dementia being called ‘organic brain syndrome’ and after one year and this menu he learned to play checkers again and his last move was a 5 jumper on one of my staff people. A year before he didn’t even know what a checker was. His exercise was always fun. Nerf ball tossing to one or two and eventually three of the young pretty staff gals. He couldn’t stand and dance but he could sit and dance. So the lovelies would dance with him with his leading with his arms and having to negotiate direction, —to his favorite swing CDs I purchased. He and his Wife used to go all over dancing. His chores were sitting at the table and polishing sterling flatware and polishing and cleaning with Murphys wonderful African wood carvings of African animals purchased on a trip in the 50’s. He folded stacks of paper napkins, used in the kitchen. Not in the dining or living room, tsk tsk. On his 64th wedding anniversary he wanted Roses for his wife and gave me his money which was about $5 and I took it and added the rest. I remember that evening his walking unaided and without his walker and me real close behind him, walking through the kitchen, into the dining room, down the 3 stairs to the foyer, through the foyer, and down 3 more stairs to the living room where she was sitting, —with the Bouquet of Roses held out like a child with violets for his mother and he said, “Happy Anniversary My Dear and you are just as Beatiful now as you were the first time I saw you!” She was delighted. It was not expected. One day I was talking to a staffer who had been on the job just a few months about our beginnings and I realized: He no longer had his Onemanship Parties. This caused thought for a gal like me, a curiousity to be satisfied, and I began the process. My final analysis was and is that the sexual drive (at least in a Man) is life itself and I suspect it is writen in the DNA and is the strongest of life force for survival. It says I am alive and I can produce. Without it, dead. Once we had my Dear Dear Man all fixed up with nutrition and a whole lotta activity and exercise that related to what he was accustomed to he somehow on some cosmic primal level had a life and was still producing something and getting something back. Okay all that said. There are and always have been indiginous cultures that have not had marriage or one partner in their cultural norms. It seems when we moved away from the animist type forms of worship into civilized religions to ‘manage’ us we then made sexuality a possession, psychological, and something to even go to war for. Men are different and this shouldn’t mean weaker or stronger or anything but different, generally. A man or a woman wanders and trust is gone, betrayal enters, psychology has a field day and very often lives are destroyed. I often wonder how many divorces are caused by this. And I wonder again if the possession, psychology, and religion were not an issue would the marriage have lasted on other and more important values? So Whoopie will be happy to hear me say: I think there should be Sensual Spas for both male and females that offer the panorama of sexual fantasy or just a good ole workout where no one gets hurt or diseased. Sexuality, I’m saying should be taken out of the relms of marriage as a posssession, of psychology and religion. It should be legal to exercise at home as well as other social and legal places of business. A profession of actual well trained women and men in acting, costume, nature, dance, music, —the sensual arts so to speak as well as the athletics and certainly intelligent conversation, for the type of character being played out. Imagine the converstaion of Edith On The Swing in her Pretty Yellow Dress! What might she say or giggle about? I’m sure Lilly and I who both have a multitude of friends in our head on the Playfield of Mind and who don’t know what morals mean, —could come up with some wonderful scenarios a Sensual Spa could present. LOL, already! Sex is treated as the possession of spouse, psychology, and religion to keep women in their place and to keep men from wandering too far from home in old old times. We can manage this now. At least discuss it without being burned at the stake. Sex makes a lot of money off the dead and injury to many women and children. It must stop. We have become, it seems more repressed about sexuality with the onslaught of unhealthy sex flaunted all around us. More and more women and children are suffering all over the world because of the sex market and trade where the wealthy and police and legislators get their kick back. It must stop, Must I say. We have the means today to recognize the importance of the exercise of sexuality as a physiological and biological need and we have the means to manage the activity with respect and dignity and safety. We must get on with it. The internet porn is secretly addicting our husbands and brothers and fathers and even our 12 to 14 year old sons to unbelievable unhealthy and deviat sex. This is not normal and may be part of what is creating so so so so much sexual abuse in our homes, on our streets, in our schools, and in our churches. Now former governor Spitzer: I suspect this is a case of a psychology that has a very difficult time with just common intimacy not to mention the intimacy one needs to develop with a family. And I suspect he’s working on this as we speak. And we would be best to leave them alone and let their decisions be theirs and not our business and as we are glad this is not one of our life challenges, pray for them both, and their children and combined families. It’s a tuff one isn’t it. Golly. So do I go to the stake? What do women think about this? Not react mind you. But think first and respond? And you Gals at the Top if you give out my email you’re cooked and concentrated. And yes I still use my Favorite Afghan and smile. It is probably happy to have served such a wonderful man so well.

'We Used to Never Acknowledge Them, Today They're Our Badges of Success'

Apology to the Gals at the Top: I’ve kept readin’ what others have said and I just wasn’t gettin’ it. Somethin’ was missin’. I went back to the first page, then to the second, and ah ha the story continues, and on to the third and yada yada. I am dyslexic as to directional stuff, physically and to language structure (reverse syntax sometimes and this ain’t always a hoot). When I write I have to edit and edit and edit and edit, out loud. Clever idea, I’ll admit, although not my favorite stuff to do, obviously. However, it looks like a case of one, two, or three missed or ineffective developmental stages. There really are people like this which makes your conversation important. And this does seem to be with females more than males. I remember in my 20’s as a young adult in the community and very involved in community work and projects which I did through women’s organizations. I saw this. In fact I’d say I saw this with about 20% of the women. Most often they were women with young professional husbands on the climb. They were in the organization mostly for social reasons rather than service to community. I more recently was an estate manager and project’s manager for a private 70 acre home with multi buildings for a man who is a multimillionare, significantly. He always liked to buddy around with those who served him. I remember thinkin’ once or twice ‘my gawd could he exist without servers in one way or another?’ I don’t think so. It doesn’t have anything to do with money I don’t think. It may have something to do with childhood nurturin’, I suspect. When I look back onto the Ladies of the Club, there wasn’t always money, but there were one or more parents not there emotionally. When I think of my former employer it was nannys and cooks who provided the nurturin’. Fortunately, I’ve always had enough goin’ for me that even in my 20’s recognized the insecurity. Other things not so quick about! This is cause for compassion, not meaning condoning. Whenever I hear someone name or item drop, or pick-up the strange, —a piece of my heart goes out to them because I know they don’t know how transparent their ego is. And why would a psychologist be helpful to them I ask? My my such a stroke of luck to find a client who’ll pay you forever if you can manage it, —and even invite you to dinner over and over again. Ahhh the choice between heal and heel! Would you at the Top of the Room be ever so kind as to put something like ‘continue on…’ at the bottom of the ‘conversation’ that continues on? I always thought the 2nd, 3rd, yada yada pages were a repeat of the first page as to the ‘developed conversation’. Again my apology and my promise to pay closer attention! Imagine how I’m feelin’ now wonderin’ if I’ve skrewed up everything I’ve written!

Maureen, well put in a lot less words than I coulda done it!

Who won last night's debate in Philadelphia?

VIVVY? You there? I think it was the adults of the U.S.of A. voting for the candidate they ‘speculated’ to be the most electible, —rather than the most qualified that got George Bush to the White House. And of course the ballot count and Uncle Al losin’ his home state. And you know what? Tt really can happen again. There are many many people who are real tired of party politics and the reporting media and the State of the Nation being decided with the mentality of American Idol or a Nascar Race. The U.S. of A. compared to the rest of the World: * 37th in overall health * 49th in literacy * 30 % don’t graduate from High School * Only 50 of the biggest industry in U.S. is U.S. owned * 1% of workers salaries have increased in 10 years * 31 in lifespan * 28th in infant mortality And this was all before our ‘recent’ financial crisis. And I remember when everyone of thosecatagories used to be the U.S. as #1. Do I need to be #1? No but I need to think we are capable of being in the top 10 and not below third world countries. Now you were saying?

'We Used to Never Acknowledge Them, Today They're Our Badges of Success'

There is something in me. Maybe a skinch of hope, that that conversation is a hoax of which I do not find funny or entertaining and certainly not intelligent. It bares a resemblance to little girls playin’ Mommy & Friends, all dressed up in Mommy’s clothes and jewels, —imitating and competing for an identity that is not real, —losin’ their own sense of self in a dessert of superficial crap. This has nothing to do with money and wealth. It has all to do with psychological, social, and spiritual lack of development. Still little girls all dressed up in Mommy’s fine dresses and glitsy jewels, pretending to be women, and they are without a clue, and certainly without interesting dinner guests, and the badges of success will disappear as the door closes at midnight and the darkness comes, and my my aren’t these little girls fraidy cats of the darkness? No self to protect them. And wouldn’t this make anyone insecure? Women? Any still around? Hoax or not, this type of big little girls are out there. My Dinner Table is such a special place where ideas and lives are exchanged and I never have more than 3 at a time and prefer one actually, so I miss nothing. My friends are doing real things and having exciting lives and they each believe in service to humanity bein’ the best work of life and work diligently to raise themselves to the occassion. I cook for two days and arrange a lovely table with at least 20 candles burnin’ and we dine inbetween conversation for 5 to 8 hours right at the table. Since about 14 I haven’t meant people such as these little women, which is why I wonder if the ‘conversation’ is a hoax, which in itself is rather immature, I think. Stifling creativity? Or do these little women have a toxic allergy to too much concrete, steel, and black top? These ladies would be welcome to my table certainly, —but unfortunately they just aren’t tall enough to sit up at the table and put their feet on the floor. High Rise Trailer Trash (HRTT). Quite sad, I am, for them.
