On Tuesday you told us what you slept in. Today, we want to know: How many people have you slept with?

Sexual exercise is as important to physiology as is having a bowel movement, one way or another, and I have two a day. Were you interested in this healthy revelation? No? Well neither am I in women acting like little boy men countin’ out the nicks on their gun. Shallow lives? Just askin’.

Who won last night's debate in Philadelphia?

What amazes me, and I seem to be amazed about 10 times a day these days, is that we are watchin’ two democrat candidates takin’ punches at each other on personal issues. And we’re tryin’ to elect a degree of high character for the President of the United States? The first 40 minutes of the debate were this punchin’ with nothin’ on issues. The commentators, of course, asked the ‘leading’ questions. I think this is called ‘passive aggressive’. Timmy of Timmy’s Meet the Press thinks Sen. Clinton did best. I thought Sen. Obama did because he kept tryin’ to get to issues. Timmy thought Sen. Clinton was better at the punches. I didn’t because she brings them off in a ‘tattle tale’ way. There was just more to pick on with Sen. Obama and I thought he explained them well but I’m not confident enough folk got it. The commentators sure didn’t nor did Timmy. It’s cultural and economic disenfranchisement and a ‘language’ among these folks that comes off anti-patriotic. Sen. Obama gets this. Edwards did also, as does Ralph Nader whose pollin’ in nationwide between 8 and 10 percent but not allowed into the debates. @#$%$^&! I could easily, —easily end up votin’ for Nader because I am so furious of the ‘politicos’ within the Democrat Party, and I know Nader could not possibly skrew up as badly as our sittin’ President. And if he does it will be the bottom 80% that benefit temporarialy from his mistakes instead of the top 20%! I’m not sure what patriotic or anti patriotic even mean anymore. Or even if it is important that I do. If maybe they’ve turned into buzz propaganda words towards ends I’m not comfortable with. But I am sure the Inside Hollywood Group and the Reality Show Type will just love banterin’ like hens and cocks about who got the best shots and what the real truth is, yada yada. as we try to elect a President of the World at the most important election of modern times. Ain’t it how it ‘tis? Georgie Steppos from ABC, hey what’s happened to him? He used to be one of my favorites. Seems the last couple of years he’s gotten to be a real pundit dundit and acts with an arrogance like he’s become somebody’s ‘boy’. Is this just me? He was a type of aggressive on his questions and especially to HRC, like he was somebody’s father callin’ a kid on the carpet. I thought a lot of time was wasted on trivia gossip, and this was because of Charlie and Georgie. Sen. Clinton will lose if she doesn’t get outta the ‘punchin’ game. She does it poorly. I think she would get further by not takin’ punches or punchin’ out, and when thrown at her ignore them with a tip of the head a little smile a deep breath and onto the issues. The press and politicos don’t seem to know we’re tired of it all. Facts, issues, and solutionizin’ please. If the press presses her I think she should just say, ‘I think the voters are interested in issues and solutions more than they are interested in whether I stayed home and baked cookies or not. Both, I thought, when finally allowed to speak on issues, did equally well. It’s the first time I thought Sen. Obama knew what he was talkin’ about. Two bad the V.P. doesn’t have more weight and responsibility than basically bein’ a stand in, for the President, and breakin’ a tie in the Congress. Sen. Obama is very savvy, I think, on social issues of the really disadvantaged as well as some of the economic and cultural misinterpretations we make on these disenfranchised. I think he could do a real good job here in organization and facilitatin’ what is needed to finally and seriously address this shameful problem in our culture, which is creepin’ upwards. However, Sen. Clinton, I think, is the one who knows how to get the bill written, debated, and passed. So 6 of 1 and 1/2 doz. of the other, —hohum. I wonder if we need a constitutional change as to the duties of a V.P.? Any thoughts on this?

Whom ever came up with this question should just be told to stay home. S/he doesn’t evidently really need a job. If WOWOWOW is gonna make some money on me there had better be some quality comin’ outta this sight. High School slang books are way behind me. Immature! Absolutely brainless.

What do you sleep in?

BETH C> Night sweats? Have your thyroid checke. This was how I found out I had a serious overactive thyroid. Night sweats were so bad I changed my nightgown in the middle of the night.

What's the first thing you do the second you get home?

As I open the door I’m saying: ‘Home home jiggity jig’. As I’m closin’ the door I’m slippin’ off the shoes. As I am makin’ it to the bathroom I am liftin’ my blouse or shirt and hitchin’ off the damn bra. When I get to the kitchen I wash my hands real real good. Then to the bath off the kit. I hang my bra, go potty singin’ Tinkle Tinkle Little Stream, Hit the Toi Toi on the Beam. Then I wash my hands and face and start the coffee. I love Home.

S. Conti: No knives. But I know a survivor of the Ukraine mess and the stories not told. It’s the human error and the profit margin aspect that bother me about something that mismanaged can take us out so easily and brutally. This solar the size of a finger nail is really somethin’. I mean it’s so could a bunch stapled on a popsickle stick could heat, cool, and light a community! A bit of exaggeration but tryin’ to make the point of how good it is. It’s a matter of storage. This is where the biggest investment is needed. Storage development. But as I say, I wanna kno before we get started, can we deplete the Sun. Who woulda thought back in the 50’s and 60’s we’d be where we are today, so so fast!

What amazes me is most of the population is over 40 but the advertisers and program directors push for programming for the 14 to 17 it seems. I could get real serious and intellectual about the condition of news reporting and programming in the U.S. and the probable reasons for it. It’s intended to dumb down. I hear Barbara whom I adore interview the Dali Llama and I go berserk. A 16 yr. old girls could have asked more appropriate and meaningful questions that would have served us well. I hear Katie ask some questions of politicians and my mouth drops. I know she’s smarter than this. I suspect they don’t think they have a choice. I do wonder why Oprah, Jane, Martha, Barbara, and all the get lucky gals haven’t invested in a T.V. station for women? With advertisers as women? I just never thought I’d live to see such a magnificant tool so abused and mis-used. There used to be wonderful programming. And if it costs so much I suggest these people don’t make 6, 7, and 8 figure salaries. Talk about Sin. Sin on OUR waves, my my. S.Conti I kinda like BBC but those folk emote all over the place even more than we. The gal that does the market gets to me. They used to have a lead that looked like Jane Russell’s 3rd stand in. I hate the bias that shows up in news. I don’t want liberal or conservative I want facts and good investigation. CBC is the hottest channel for straight news I’ve ever experience. They are just responsible adults and they look like real people. They don’t fad dress or show their legs, or high heels, and the men aren’t dyin’ their hair and wearin’ rugs. They are workin’ folk doin’ a class act in their craft. In fact they raise the craft to Art. PPS I like also as to news and also Bill Moyer’s, Expose’, Frontline, NOW with that cutie David, and cultural documentaries, and I love that ole Brit comedy! And maybe it has a lot to do with the West and East Coast thing. They do tend to think the world begins and ends where they are at. But by golly a sandwich without meat inbetween is pretty empty. Inland is the meat and what holds them together. When the mind set of business went from customer to consumer is when we began gettin’ in alotta touble, methinks. We became not the producer but the commodity.

I Read the News Today, Oh Boy: Who Still Cares? Millions Around the World Did. Some Still Do

Heyyy wait up, I heard my name, here I am, excuse my black cotton ribbed bleach dotted shirt and stripped sweats, —stripped with bleach, but here I am! What? Oh yeah I agree with The Conti 178.9 percent. Banquet is good but it should be diversified. Come on uptown girls hasn’t your trusty investment advisor told you this. But maybe this little market is just adjustin’ itself, right? Tomorrow will be better? Seriously I do agree with Suzanne C. I logged on this a.m. and thought ‘whhhattt?’ I’m sure Frances is fried from her busy day and lifings’ challenges. Most of us have built up so much scar tissue we could bleed to death and not even know it, right? The points I picked up from The Conti is to be sure to include enough topics to satisfy many groups. Not everyone wants to unwind or wind up the same way do they? I personally have found myself quite embarrassed at the shallowness of some of the women and the triteness of some’s perception to downright nasty as to individual people. It is obvious they were in on the wrong discussion. So they should have other topics to tittle on. Some of us hope that this website can help bring women up and we aren’t talkin’ about money or a slew of Phyds but that other value that packs a few degrees also: integrity in accountability as Women. Suzanne brought up the logical point of pressure on the innovators for safety in numbers as to profit and it is a point. Hopefully the investors remember it’s the right numbers that secure the safety. If investors are in the good ole boy and good ole clone girl club then they won’t listen to any of us except as a commodity and that’s too bad. The problem CAN be solved to include everyone. Such as headings on the home page:Topics, and in topics can be all the topics of U.S.A. crises such as economics, health, housing, aging, and I could go on. I have about 30 listed on my hard drive. Then we could click into the topic. There could be topics such as what Princess D was wearing when she died, and all those things the top 1 percent would rather we discuss. But I suggest to the investors that topics such as those can be picked up in about a trillion chat rooms all over the net. Best to just plan out a quality plan and in the long run both prophet and profit can come together. I can’t imagine people like Whoopie or my all life time favorite Lilly puttin’ up with total frival. So maybe we are in just a growin’ glitch, huh? But then again that Whoopie is puttin’ up with Frival on The View. I miss Rosey and would love to see Rosie, Whoopie, and Jane Fonda have a late night talk show. But unfortunately late night talk show for women would be a naughty like not goin’ on the golf course on Wednesdays huh? Hopefully it is just all a temporary glitch but something had to be said, just in case. There are those of us who are sturdy folk and want to find ways we can be of use to the planet. Of late (couple of days) I’m seein’ a whole lot more middle school lavatory gossip than I am feminine intelligence. And if Lilly and Whoopie, and Leslie are standin’ back there with their hands tied because of investors, —well maybe we just helped them out. Some Topics of Substance please for the Women of Substance. Thanks! Some women want to whine and have someone say ‘poor baby’. That’s okay. But there are some out here who wanna get in the ring and see what we can get done so the whiners can continue to whine and pine.

What do you consider to be the new seven deadly sins?

I like Maureen H. and Anita’s lists. In fact if those gals up front are as sharp as I think they are I think some good questions can come from these lists folks have posted. Questions seem to be gitten a tinchy trite. Here’s some help for them.

Ahhhh T.V. news coulda been so much more than now. The foundation was there. I watch 60 Minutes religiously. I watch about 5 to 10 min. of remote switchin’ at 7 a.m. and then switch to C-SPAN and internet. I am so fortunate to live on the Canadian border and can get CBC News at 6 a.m., noon, 6 pm, and 10 pm (if there’s not a damn hockey game!). This is an hour each time and has investigative news, nation and global news and is so so excellent and better than anything we’ve ever had here. There are men and women oh so professional without emoting. There are even women and men with gray hair and no wax, plastic, or botox, and even plump, if you can imagine such a thing. Real live people. They also offer wonderful documentaries on our country affairs as Iraq, Washington, Environment, Corporate Crime, and just everything. They are absolutely all grown up and if they mention Britany at all it is at the last and very little celeb news or even their actin’ like celebs. Commercials are much less! They are excellence. U.S.A. news is shamful as to content and lack of content, offensive and too many commercials, much much too short for the amount of news happenin’ in the world, too much bias as to emotin’ reporters, too much messagin’ and not enough messenger. Pretty dumbed down and I don’t get it. How do they make their money? Most people I know don’t watch the news anymore. They laugh at the silly thing and certainly allow very little TV for their kids. There is not a product I see on T.V. that I buy. I just won’t. The commercial, political aspect is just sick. News shows advertise celebs and even their own comin’ up network shows. A documentary on network news is some murder case! Gawd. And often of some rich person’s kid who was too young to travel to another country alone anyway. Gawd gawd. There just is not enough space for me to express how awful for the culture I think U.S. network and cable News and programming are. Such opportunity to serve —lost. And to think people get paid 6. 7. and 8 figures to bring such culture degradation. I suppose it’s a matter of followin’ the money from corporate to the 1600 Block and then to the ‘journalists’ who’ve sold their souls to the Company Store. I’m passionate about true journalism and I’m just sickened as to what it has become in our country. Just sickened. The kinda sick and anger Jesus of Nazareth musta felt when he went into the Temple and the Temple’s counting house! Sinful. Yes, U.S. commercial T.V. is sinful, I think. I was wonderin’ when a ‘news’ question or statement would come up. I hope folk really throw out their hooks on this one and really share what they think of U.S. news and TV programming. I know, I’ll go home now.

What do you consider to be the new seven deadly sins?

Sin. Such a concept isn’t it? I think the original 10 commandments cover just about what everyone has said. It’s a matter of abstractin’ as to what this might mean in the present. Alotta stuff we can learn from long ago. There used to be this sayin’ pre-60’s: Spare the rod, spoil the child. The 60’s began sayin’ oh dear don’t hit, call social services and the psychologist and the educator, and what have we gotton from all that, hum? To abstract to today would be to say, I think: spare the discipline spoil the kid. Ya know, who wants spoiled meat? Another one used to be Children should be seen and not heard. I heard this one so much I promised I’d never say it to my progeny and I didn’t. But you know what? At this ole age and years of studying varying cultures I realize this is true and I didn’t use it. The child, no matter how bright, is best to observe in the younger years and say little. There is something very important to survival of the species in learnin’ observation at a very young age, lettin’ it build, and then creatin’ questions and the search later on. Golly all those overindulged (spoiled) kids goin’ out there as young adults to interact with all those others that have been overindulged? Will this work? Have the kid’s learned: you can’t quite do it well enough without me (the parent)? And is this why there are so many parents butting into their young adult child’s college and work affairs? And isn’t enabling when the child learns they can’t quite do it well enough by themself? I’m just questioning? I’m curious. And might not overindulgence in our children be a ‘sin’ of today of quite a magnitude —and conducted by selfless parents whose ego masks have adheared to their own skin and they don’t know when it’s appropriate to remove them? And a very bad bad sin I think is we don’t socially and often sing and dance anymore and create social music that brings the spirit up to soften the blow of the real world, and energize us to go back out there, refreshed. A new ego mask over the last 60 years is just an evil evil sin. The victim mask. Where we have allowed others to make us think we cannot solve our own problems without some specialist, that all generations before us did just fine. Oh what else? Ahhh yes. OUR outsoursin’ the U.S.A. beginnin’ in the 60’s when we drove 10 or 15 miles to save 50 cents at a big box store and outsource our local merchants who we called crooks for chargin’ 50 cents more and take OUR outsourcin’ all the way to internet shoppin’ to save 50 cents and put local business outta business and local folk outta jobs, all who paid real taxes, and then—complain about the big corps and govt. that took our business right off shore to save us 50 cents. Does this define hypocracy? I’m outta here, I’m depressin’ myself! Ain’t that a sin?
