I love crafting, always have, I retired 11 years ago, have 9 grandchildren and have always made things for them, a paper mache sun clock, my hubby glued a golf shoe to a board and put a light on it and I took a sports magazine and cut pictures, and decoupaged the shade, I have painted many christmas balls, filled them with beads, ribbon, etc. made snow globes, I can’t think of all the things I have done, but I love it and so do they, this year I am making the girls rings with beads as the bands. 4 are now in college and I just mailed them a survival box, with cookies, beef logs, candy, cheese, crackers. mandarin oranges, it was fun, but really heavy to drag to the postoffice, these are also gifts to me, I love doing it.

Susan, I too feel we should allow all religions in the schools, what better way to understand how each feels about what they believe, and allow atheist to also participate, the same with the public parks, court house lawns, etc. instead of making everyone hide how they feel about God or not.

I love that we elected the first black man as president during my life time, BUT I need to see what a woman can do as president, Our minds work differently I suppose because of less testosterone , but I need the chance to see how a women would handle this mess, and now we will never know.

I am from Indiana and soooooooexcited that we went Obama, I am 73 and can’t remember when we went democratic. Am visiting my daughter in Chicago and visited downtown yesterday morning, but not during the party at Grant Park, just watched that on tv. God bless the american citizens, and I heard President Obama is IRISH : )
