What Happens to Us After We Die?

It would be “comforting” to have so much trust in people who tell the stories of unverifiable content. I find interest in listening to the stories but then think through them scientifically and logically. I find in just about all aspects of life when science comes forth the truth shall overcome… eventually. This is how I can predict the future, in the sense; in 1999 I predicted if Bush ever sat in the oval office as president that we would go to war with Iraq & Iran respectively & head for a depression too. I predicted cholesterol is, on the most part, a crock. I could go on for pages but I didn’t predict these things were going to happen (but they did). I used logic & science to predict them for me. I am not a clairvoyant or anything else. Is the science logical? Is life after death logical; how & why? Is there a God? Why is there a God? Is God needed for man to withstand/bare life? Do animals believe? They definitely have soles. Why not? Is there a consensus on any of the stories of God, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, etc.? Or is there decent on most, if not all the stories? Think logically & truth shall rise & overcome. How your body functions is even logical. Everything has logic to it in some form or another except God. Humm ??????

What signs, if any, of recession have you noticed?

My grocery budget was $60/mo. (really!!!) for 5 years until about 1-1/2 years ago, progressively increasing to about $350/mo now for one. The prices increased so rapidly that I don’t know exactly what I spend now. That increase includes substituting dried beans & corn instead of meat or fish. I will not give up fresh veggies. My milk bill alone is now $40/mo. The movie theaters are empty; the roads are filled & burning gas like never before; restaurants are slow; hardware/home improvement stores are far less crowded; hammers are still pounding on wood building new homes; foreclosures are increasing; businesses are closing, big businesses too. Still, most will say they aren’t affected by this depression. Recession, inflation, depression… pick a name. All apply & will so even more next year. I also saw Charlie Rose. It prompted me to visit the website & glad I did. Thank you.

I Read the News Today, Oh Boy: Will Obama Prove Them Wrong?

Obama can’t win if the voters are intelligent. He doesn’t offer detailed solutions, whereas, Clinton does. Race has little to do with anything under that premise. Obama does have an elequent ability to express the issues/problems though. This is what has got him so far. I traveled by car, camping in tent, solo for 2-1/2 years crossing the US 4 times & Canada twice for the sole purpose of trying to understand the prejudice against Blacks (I’m white) because I have never understood why anyone would hold someone in a different status due to skin pigmentation. In my extensive travels in the South I learned how hypocritical people really are. Southerners are the sweetest, kindest, most hospital people but they still use the term “Niger” instead of he/she/Black. They show a healthy respect of Blacks in public but close that door & they are very demeaning of the Blacks. Why? I will never understand. For this reason we must be realists, Obama can’t win the presidency but can the nomination because it isn’t the Democrats that are prejudice in general.
