It varies what I do for myself. Right now I am enjoying the book “Reading Jazz”. When I am done with a chapter, say, about Louis Armstrong, I go on YouTube and listen to the music. I recommend it - great entertainment………

What is real, authentic, true and genuine in your life and why?

I don’t respond to many questions, but I like this one: Unconditional love for my daughter who never seizes to amaze me and my close family friends who for many years have put up with my opinions and attitudes because they are so good natured and kind to me. And I must mention the fact that I love to be an American, because I have always felt that if one door closes another one will open up and this is still the place of possibilities, no matter what… Next week, I’ll be on a trail in Montana, slowly skiing through the woods, contemplating some of your comments……….

When's the last time you visited an art museum?

Visited the Albrecht Duerer Museum in Nuremberg last month with my daughter, and we also went to see the Christmas Markets in Nuremberg, Munich, Augsburg, Freiburg and Colmar in Alsace……….Lots of holiday spirits…..

My legacy is that I have influenced the people I love the most to obtain higher education. I have also spent the first four years of my retirement to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) I was instrumental in making sure that a little boy had a future, and a little girl was put into a safe and loving home.
