My Comments (117 so far…)

Forty years ago, students shut down Columbia University protesting the Vietnam War. Have you ever marched in a protest?

When neo-nazis tried to distribute hate mail in my daughters neighborhood a few years ago, I felt I had to take part in a protest. This was a first one for me, and I’m still proud I did.

It's been 19 years since the protests in Tiananmen Square. What do you think about China today?

Lin Si, Welcome! You do have the gift of communication. We all should learn a lot more about each other. I enjoy reading about what you have to say. Please, keep on talking to us.

History is about the truth, facts, what really happened… It’s not supposed to be fiction or imagination or wishful thinking…….

Hi Lin Si, I’m curious: Do you live in China, or do you live in the U.S.?

When did you start feeling comfortable in your own skin?

Tina, Your comment sent me down memory lane when I had my daughter. It was the most glorious feeling. Thanks!

When did you start feeling comfortable in your own skin?

I’m surprised that the majority so far feels like I do: To be 50 was great! It freed me of many hang-ups, and I was so much more aware of myself. Also walked my first marathon, all 26.2 miles…. Cherished memories..

'We Used to Never Acknowledge Them, Today They're Our Badges of Success'

Hi Ladies, Why don’t you get a grip…… Go and do some volunteer work and get real. Besides, I welcome anyone to my table with whom I can have a meaningful exchange in ideas……… Please, get real and do something for your community.

I Read the News Today, Oh Boy: Who Still Cares? Millions Around the World Did. Some Still Do

The poor man lost his son. …….. We all grieve in our own way……..

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?

The most dangerous thing I did in 1965 when I came to the U.S. without knowing a soul and having only $100 in my pocket, because I naively went on a shopping spree first. I eventually became a U.S. citizen and have loved being here since day one, hardship and all……

What advice would you give to a 21-year-old woman?

I completely agree. My advice to a 21-year old is: Get as much education as you can possibly obtain, think big for yourself. Don’t be afraid to swim against the stream. Be true to yourself.

Are the goings-on within polygamist sects any of our business? Should they be monitored? By whom?

DHS should have removed the children a long time ago. Don’t understand why we can’t make the lives of children our top priority……….
