Oh I so hate to admit this…. but when my husband and I went to NYC in September. My first trip there and one i’d been looking foward to for YEARS… we went to "Hair". And we left at intermission! I found it to be very un interesting. The basic premise of it just isn’t, in my opinion, relevant anymore. But the big problem was the acoustics. We were just a few rows back from the stage and literally couldn’t make out a single word of 90% of the songs. I was super disappointed.

If i had to pick between the two i’d say driving over handwriting. Especially in this computer age. I used to have fairly decent handwriting. But i never "handwrite" anymore. it’s like i’ve forgotten how. Driving… I don’t think being an aggressive driver means you’re an aggressive person. I think it means you have a problem in some coping areas. which therefore goes along with Joan Cooney’s brother in law being sweet everywhere but on the road. It speaks more to how you handle frustration, decision making, that type of thing than to agression a lot of times. My 22 year old daughter is the flat out worst driver I’ve ever known in my life. True… she is. I’m not saying that because i’m her mom! The whole family talks about it as do her friends! She is very inattentive. And she’s like that in general. She always has thirty things on her mind and it really shows in the car!

I just started working out of my home this year. It’s been a huge learning curve! And i’m a crummy record keeper! I feel guilty just reading this. My work requires me to drive to appointments to interview people. Sometiems as many as six or eight interviews per case… I never keep track of mileage. I’ve been planning on going through each of my cases and making mapequests to the home so i could backtrac mileage. I paid for a large insurance policy and cant find the receipt! i SUCK. I’m great at the work lol… bad at the business of it…Can I get a "crummy at paperwork" deduction?

I agree with you Paul… I think you especially should take your hard earned recession plagued dollars and see a movie with a thin attractive black woman in it. Like the return of the return of the return of X-men or something. Now those are box office worthy movies right? I mean really? who would spend money on a movie with a fat unattractive star in it? Not people with brains that’s for sure. Come to think of it there should be a ban on movies with fat unattractive stars in them. I’ve noticed Jack Nicholson has sure been packin on the pounds lately. No more jack nicholson movies! he’s getting old and fat…

I for one am sooo excited to see the "Precious"… I haven’t anticipated a movie this much since "The Wrestler". Which was worth the anticipation. I just wish with all this chatter about it… someone would say when it’s going to be released!!

oh yes. Like Mary Wells I tend to give money on a personal level to people in need. However I do donate to charities. They are ones that i feel connected to and have access to. So i get to see what they, and the money I give…are doing. One of my very best friends is the chair person of the board for orphan’s over seas. they have an orphanage in Africa. I support that as well. She’s actually over there as we speak meeting with African officials and touring some folks. I trust her so I trust the money is making a difference.

I do not propose to know what goes on in anyones marriage… I would like to say that "till death do us part" is a damn long time. hopefully anyway. when we make that commitment we do not know what is in store for us between the day of the vow and the day we "part". My guess is that some of these women went into these marriages knowing exactly what their "bad boys" were up to or might get up to. and maybe they just love them anyway. Maybe they aren’t "cutting deals" for security or money or power. maybe this just happens to be the guy they want in their lives and they take him for what he is. there’s a million ways to live a life. some of them i would choose and some of them i wouldn’t but who am i to judge?

and oh yes… i’m headed to home depot for concrete blocks shortly lol..

Maybe Clooney gets a pass Belinda cuz he’s smokin hot lol.. not to mention he plays on his nice guy image big time. Madonna has never once attempted to be characterized as "nice" in the media. for some reason we public want our stars to be both humble and nice for some reason. so the ones who appear to be whether they are or not… get passes from us. Madonna hasn’t ever played the nice nor the humble card. well… as she aged she made some attempts at humble.

As a testament though to her incredible success… I might not have any Madonna songs on my ipod but both my daughters do!

Hmm… Madonna. She’s been so much a part of the culture of my life that she’s tough to judge. Vision Quest was filmed in my home town and her scene in a bar that was us "kids" party bar. So she was sort of a piece of the fabric of my life from the time she hit the big time. People always said i looked like her in our twenties. Ironically… i have 1500 songs on my ipod and not one Madonna tune. I’d have to say my only judgement of her has been i don’t like her music and never have. Not even in the early 80’s. But i’ve loved her success. Even though i didn’t like her music i liked her videos. They were always art to me.  I always feel a little bad for her when she makes another crummy movie. She’s one brave chick. Which would go along with her being vulnerable. if you’re not scared it aint brave.

absolutely legalize regulate and tax both. I have very strong feelings about both of these. And i’m not a pot smoker! It’s just absolutely ludicrous to spend money the way we do on policing these two things. One of which is no more harmful by any means than alcohol or benzodiazepines for cryin out loud. And one of which wouldn’t be dangerous at all if it were regulated, if these women were provided health and security protections. not to mention we’d be putting taxes IN our coffers as opposed to spending taxes… it’s just stupid stupid stupid that they are not legal.

Ya… I don’t agree. I think she looks great and don’t think it’s distracting at all. that’s one of those super subjective things.
