It's been one year since Obama's election. Knowing what you know now, would you change your vote?

Hay D L. Sound’s like you need time in the woods to getaway. Or mabby run for office. But I feel I need to tell you that being an American comes with responsabilities. After all if you don’t like it here, this day and time you might be called a terrorist! And being over greedy, or scrooge like, is very anti-American today. And above all please remember, they are not YOUR TAXES! THEY ARE OURS! You see, that’s the difference between being a Real American, and being a low-life Republican.

Hay C Hardy, Nice, a 3 year old. Nasty years sometimes! But your child is the future, not only of your name, but for mankind. And so many today forget that. And being concerned for you child tells me that you at least have some of the basics for being a parent. But being worried about what President Obama is doing is political! Remember the past. After WW2 we were flat broke as a country. But the best years of our history was the recovery. My Mother, 89, keeps telling me that our country is strong and has survived alot more than this. Although it does worry me when I catch her crying about what she keeps hearing over the cable news networks. And she does watch all of them! Also has her C-SPAN constational book and keeps after the politicans. All sides!

As for what President Obama is doing for your daughter, I believe he is doing what is right for America. And when our President say’s "the American People", I fell he means all of us. And not just the corporations, and elite.

And as far as putting some people down, well…… I’m just the kinda man that tell’s it like it is. Yup, that’s me.

Hay Deb, 1st; writing my post again sounds too much like a teacher thing.

2nd; I at no time said that thoes who didn’t vote for President Obama were "anti-American and low life". You really shouldn’t read more into what someone say’s then what they say. That’s what lawyers and cable "so called" news reproters do.

Let me say this Deb, Obama is no jr. He has been in office for only a year, and already has healthcare on it’s way for the American people. See the problem is that there are too many anti-American, American’s. People who think to much for themselves and nothing for the country! These low lives are so greedy and money head strong, that they don’t even care about there childrens future. They have such a need for power and money that nothing else matters. Not there life, not there childrens lives, and not anyone elses lives. It is these anti-American ( low-life republicans) that are the terrorists within our mists that have been taken down by the Real American People. They are and support the low life corporations of our country. Now I am not saying that all companies are low-life, but companies like Alcoa is. Take a close look at Alcoa, a company that is making parts for jet engions. It has so many disgruntle employees and they will not fly. Yes, the employees that are making the parts of the jet you fly on will not fly! Because they make the parts they know how much of a chance you take when you fly. There is alot wrong with this country. And alot to complain about. But Kennedy said it best. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!"

One has to vote acording to how one feels at the time. Looking back on it, a year later, I feel he has done so much better then the previous President. I do feel there is room for improvement, but we have to remember, he is new. As politicans come. I do not believe we have seem him come close to flexing his mussles yet. And I am happy to see him an active President with the American people. May God Bless or President and our United States of America!

Being a man, let me give you a man’s point of view. I have seen many men and women do this. Some call it perversion, but what I feel it is, is medapause. When men get it, they are like a child that gets tired of his toy. Thus, they get the droop’s and need medication to "get it up". Or they get into werd stuff to put a new spin and enjoy sex a different way. Women do this as well. But many of both sex end up getting a devorce and look to others for somthing new. And the only one who get’s hurt then is the children. And they get hurt for the rest of there lives!

Should marijuana or prostitution be legalized?

If both were legalized, it would take alot off the street, and behind closed doors. And would help with paying taxes. But would make other problems that would only surface if we did legalize them. So I do feel that it should be allowed if a county or township wanted to legalize it in there own area’s by vote of there own people. This is the only way that it could be selected for the area’s that this would benifit most.

I agree whole heartly with you Chris Glass. Raising another point to the reason our country is falling. Our country worked when the woman took care of the children and the house. But the world today does not allow that now. The world today demands that it is now an elite privilage for a woman to stay home, have children, and take care of the house. For most men are unable to make enough money to support them today. Gee, I wounder if that is going to start something? Naa, aI doubt it!

It was a nice report from there point of view. I’m sorry, but I feel all news is bias one way or the other. Because of the fact that they cannot report the whole story. Something always gets left out, or trumpt up! But myself….a man….. I am the old fashion type. I too feel the kids should come first. After all the only one’s who get hurt in any devorce is the kid’s. And there scared for the rest of there lives. But anyway, someone need’s to take care of the kids! That is what is wrong with America today! I prefer to see either the Father or the Mother do it. If a nanny does it, or a sitter, then the kids are really there’s. And the golden rule of raising kids is to remember; What you don’t teach your kid’s, someone else will. And odd’s are they will not be very nice about it! Kid’s are the future. If you don’t take care of the kid’s, you have given up on life and wish to take everyone with you.

Liz Smith Fears Another Vietnam

Vietnam. Still in the minds of many. From the yhat club to the rat’s tunnels, many today have memmories they want to forget! To say another one, is implying that our government needs another testing ground war for the war machine. Myself I hope not, and so far, believe that our President can controll the Dog’s of War. Or at least better then Jr could! I do feel that it was a mistake to take Afganistan in the first place, and while we are there we should take the chance to make it a better place. But then I look back in our own history and seeing our American Indians being just like the Afgan people. Tribal, warriors, willing to fight for honor and home! I cannot help but feel that we are making the same mistakes we made taking over this country from the savages. But I do feel that our President is the best man for the job that we have today. And if he can’t do it, just hope there’s still enough guns in this country to protect yourself.

It was special to get a color tv. Old round tubes to watch tv on today looks and sounds like cave man. Then the remote controlls that sung a tune to change the channel or volume. It was fun finding the right note on the organ to change the channel. I have watched tv from it’s birth to today. I fear today we are taking to much for granted and money is guiding the unworthy who have controll over your children’s lives through tv. But that’s just my opinion.
