What is your preferred mode of transportation?

About half the time when I lived in Tucson I rode the bus and I liked it. Instead of using the umbrella I used in the Northwet (Seattle area) for rain, I used it to keep the sun off of me. Now that I’m back in the Northwet, that same umbrella is used for the rain and I’m not happy. I also have to drive because distances are so much further apart here than in Tucson. However, because it’s cooler, my dog can ride with me and that just makes his day!!! What do I have to do to get an avatar???

How much wine do you drink daily?

How do you find an avatar and how do you add it to your comments?????

Have you changed religions in your lifetime? If so, why?

I was raised Roman Catholic and didn’t have the guts until I reached my 50’s to go and check out different churches even though I hadn’t practiced for years and years. Talk about “brainwashed”!! Anyway, while visiting my son in Spokane after he returned from Iraq, I attended the Unity church there. The pastor was a woman and I REALLY LIKED THAT. When I was a little girl living in Saudi Arabia, I wanted to be a priest but quickly found out that because I was a girl that dream wasn’t going to happen so I think I quit dreaming. So it was wonderful to find a church where a woman could be the pastor! I sometimes wish I liked Spokane better just so I could attend that church!! But alas, I don’t. I know there are other religions with female ministers, but I really like Unity. I first went to Unity in Tucson and what I loved about that church was the location. I felt so blessed every time I drove onto the property, especially to walk the labyrinth. I have a question. How do you get the avatars (I believe that’s what they’re called)?

So, You Want to Know Why Hillary Is Still in the Race?

I’m not ready to give up on Hillary…I think we truly need her. If she doesn’t make it I don’t know what I’m going to do. When Bush was elected a second time I seriously thought of leaving our country and that is still an option because I don’t care for the other choices.

How do you feel about Iraq right now? What is your biggest fear, and what is your biggest hope?

I was against this war from the start. I walked in a protest march…my first ever and it felt scary and exciting at the same. I also have a son in the military and his first deployment was to Basra and he’s currently deployed in Afghanistan. I cry when I read the responses from other mothers with children in the military. While I’m proud of them, I’m so scared for them. I never expected this when my son so proudly enlisted in the Air Force almost 10 years ago following in his grandfather’s (a Pearl Harbor survivor) foot steps. I want Bush out of the White House and I want him gone yesterday!!! I feel badly for the Iraqi people and hope we don’t leave them hanging. I learned about this website on Charlie Rose last night and I’m glad to have found it.
