Who is bearing the cost of the delivery and hospitalization costs for caring for these babies? If it’s the taxpayer, then I cannot agree with what the clinic and this woman did. I am not going to put down a woman for having a big family, however if you are already blessed with 6 children, I really don’t understand how a fertility clinic would allow this woman as a patient. It is a matter of ethics.

Now we have other outlets besides the movie theaters, cable, internet, Netflix, etc. But if some of these theaters can roll back their admission prices it will make an affordable night out for families, couples and every one who loves films. I remember when BAM offered great prices and included a restaurant deal too. I went to so many performances on a teacher salary. Businesses need to get creative again and do something that will help save Main Street and our sanity. We will need a form of escapism, and movies offer that.

From what I understand, she is not a diva type demanding her dressing room be a certain color or that only certain types of food be made available. She is and will always be “an actress” first and her work is more important than the perks. She may not consider herself the world’s greatest living actress, but she is a master actress. Others should follow her example.

Frank, The comments here could have been gracious to both sides, but just the headline brings out the worst in us. The truth is Palin is a very good public speaker when the words are written for her. But put her in the Meet the Press chair, and we see she is not ready for the Prime Time Players. I am heartbroken when mothers turn out to be the ones who tear their children apart emotionally. The movie Now Voyager comes to mind. Hopefully the children can break this cycle, and find the strength not to feel they need “mommy” in their lives when they become adults. Yet, when this mommy becomes old and ill, it will be up to the dutiful daughter to take care of her. As for the first letter—both mothers are disgusting. And the husband better put the brakes on his wife before it gets worse. I would have a lawyer speak to the husband rather than his ex mistress.

Lily, Obama made it clear to the American voters that he will go into those parts of the region with force. We were attacked, and the Taliban is protecting the murderers. Pakistan will is under siege by the Taliban. Obama will use diplomacy, but he is not going to sit back and allow Pakistan to fall into terrorist hands or allow the Taliban to protect those who attacked us on 911. Maybe Iraq has given you a taste of what is not supposed to be done, but there are things that have to be done. Diplomacy is one of them, but we cannot expect the Taliban to sit and talk. They are too busy beating up women in Pakistan for shopping in the markets alone.

Long Island has their own version of Bernie Madoff who took money from middle-class investors including Marines who are fighting oversees and do not know their savings are lost. If this era of greed can somehow come to an end, their might be hope for the future. I wonder how many who took a bonus provided by the tax payers are giving back?
