If you think Medicare is “socialist” wait until your parents become ill and don’t have the resources to pay the hospital, doctor and drug bills.

All she had to do was provide the link she used. But she did not.

So now popularity is a qualification? If she knew the issues and could have handled the tough questions, I would not have a problem with her. And I doubt Obama does either.

Julia, Very entertaining. My former colorist and the life partner of a very well-known furrier liked Pat Buckley. She had a flair for language if you know what I mean. I always envied the people who were invited to one of their dinner parties. Bill Buckley was so well liked and always gracious whether he was a host or guest. I hope someone writes a bio on their life together.

It’s always the hair! Cut, color and style is everything. Yet if we were to compare the ‘99 to ‘89, the results would be the same. Rice looks stunning!!!

I also have a pair of jeans out every night and since I sleep in a T-shirt, I can be out in a jiffy. It’s never a good idea not take these alarms seriously. My friend was having highlights in a major Manhattan salon when a real fire occurred in the building the salon was housed in. She only had a plastic top around her. Her hair was in foil and the temps were cold. Another salon took them in so their stylists could finish their work. Thankfully, the salon did not have major damage and she was able to get her things.

The relationship between Michelle and Jill is great. I like seeing them together.

I used to subscribe to TV guide until they dropped their late night listings many years ago. I used to tape the 2am rebroadcast of Masterpiece Theater on Wednesdays, But when I discovered a different program was taped and PBS had moved the day, I dropped the publication and discovered I could find the same information on the computer. Dropping a network as well as late night listings from a television programing magazine is like dropping a major ingredient out of a recipe. You just don’t do it. I am sure George’s father is having a meltdown and this time he cannot blame Elaine.

Today it is impossible for students to afford the cost of a 4-year college. Community Colleges offer them the opportunity to still go to college and save money until they transfer. I went to a community college at night because I worked during the day. I met a great deal of people who had other responsibilities and took their education seriously. We were young, but not of a “party” mentality. I enjoyed my evening classes because the discussions and the level of teaching was quite good. I commend Jill Biden for putting a positive spotlight on community colleges.

The real story is that the Conservative Party failed miserably and now want to label her as tax and spend with implies they are already working against her than with her for the sake of their country. Congrats and best of luck.

I hate when parents allow their children to take things out of the serving plates with their hands and then pass the plates to the adults. It doesn’t matter if I am the host or not, they still allow it. Grosses me out.
