Ms Cooney — Your article “Senators Clinton and Obama Have Made Each Other Unelectable” has had me worrying for several days now. Though I admit I don’t understand Mrs. Clinton’s behavior or a process that requires it for a candidate to be successful. I wonder: Does freedom always lead to this?

Does a Little Obama 'Elitism' Go a Long Way in Politics?

If “elitist” means smart, clear, wise, logical, careful, truthful, and transparent, then I’m all for a president with those characteristics. Another thought: Mrs. Clinton play acts, so I don’t think most thoughtful folks take her remarks seriously.

I did confront him. All it did was bring more lies. No use wasting time. Get on with the new life that is inevitable. Leave him. If he wants to make amends, he can do it — but on your own terms, not as a captive audience, not as the homebody or helpmate, not as one who is no longer respected. Get on with it — go, go, go!
