Putting aside matters of law, criminality and ethics, what three people would you nominate to be offed?

A piece of news that matters to me is that there was a teeny little mistake made in the reporting of the gathering in Washington DC this past Saturday. Seems like the photo showing the crowds was real, but it was of a crowd at an entirely different event. In addition, thus far the reports on the crowd’s size puts it at a respectable 70,000 or so to as many as 2,000,000. Ah, well. Not THAT much difference, heh? See the article in PolitiFact.com:

Countrywoman! Been a while. Hi! How are ya? I’ve really missed reading your thoughts on things. So nice to see you today. I too hope we get through this time without too much damage. The results of the elections next year will be very interesting …

While our country’s elected representatives attempt to cooperate on making US healthcare better for all, the statistics continue to prove the US wanting. Here are some of the latest from the World Health Organization [but they’re probably only leftist propaganda; after all, so many on the "conservative" side continue to report that the US is #1):
WHO as of 2009:
Gross national income per capita (PPP international $): US 44,070; Italy 28,970; France 32,240; Canada 36,280
Life expectancy at birth m/f (years): US 75/80; Italy 78/84; France 77/84; Canada 78/83
Healthy life expectancy at birth m/f (years, 2003): US 67/71; Italy 71/75; France 69/75; Canada 70/74
Probability of dying under five (per 1 000 live births): US 8; Italy 4; France 5; Canada 6
Probability of dying between 15 and 60 years m/f (per 1 000 population): US 137/80; Italy 83/44; France 124/57; Canada 89/55
Total expenditure on health per capita (Intl $, 2006): US 6,714; Italy 2,623; France 3,554; Canada 3,672
Total expenditure on health as % of GDP (2006): US 15.3; Italy 9.0; France 11.1; Canada 10.0

Best news today: President Obama on 60 Minutes looks comfortable and sure of the direction in which we are moving:

So much heat is being directed at him, personal as well as political, yet his demeanor is still so statesmanlike and calm. We did a good thing, electing him … Reminds me of one of his campaign speeches, right after he’d be seriously attacked:
