Could you remember remember memorable lines in speeches when you were in three different states per day during the campaign? Me neither. C, did you notice that there was not even one single comment about this "failure" to recall the speech from memory? It speaks to the insignificance of this. Not one single person in the entire internet found this interesting enough to even comment on. Because in your heart you know he is a good man and he is going to bust his buns not only for the country, but to improve and correct the world’s current gluttony of greed and power, and bring us back to good old fashioned values of deserve-what-you-have without leverage. That’s MHO of course!

That pipeline has to go through MY backyard in BC to get to the States. Do you think it is going to be that easy to drain the oil out from under the second largest country (Canada) in the world without protest or using OUR workers to build that pipeline? Glad you had the intellectual curiousity to explore truth. ooooooo. Really scary foreign oil interetss at hand. Canada provides more tha 50% of US oil right now. Its neo-con fear mongering at its best. We ALL need to be weaned off the oil-bottle, and on to the spippy cup of solar!

Uuuuhhhh. Says who? Bush didn’t even make it through the damn debates in Election of the idiot Part two, without an earwig in his scrawny little ear! How soon we forget! I could not believe it. I suspect he was being COACHED through the debates! But that was back in the day of McBushism (AKA McCarthyism) when hi-end journalists were fired for less than reporting the truth. DNA lovechild is a metaphor for the perfect mix blend of DNA from two people. In this case inferring that RR, being a blend of two women, it didn’t seem to be appropriate to use the ordinary term of ‘lovechild.’ So I invented the modern term, DNA love child. Kind of self-explanatory I thought.

Part of the problem is publicly back-patting by the media who try so damn hard to get to the bottom of a story that they risk future lives. When those recent hostages were freed in South America, the story came out that the "swat" team faked a connection to the ring leader in order to get them all on the plane and safely out of the jungle.

What PURPOSE could that possibly have? It just makes the bad guys more paranoid and causes further collateral damage to innocent trained doctors/nurses/volunteers who really ARE there to help the locals, and are NOT CIA. This really burns me up. It makes me just as furious to see radical muslims use their schools and mosques as hiding places for artillery and murderers. It sets up safe places and "safe" honest people for evil to befall them for the sake of a clever news story.

Darfur is going to be even more dangerous with the recent turn of events there. I hope and pray for the safe return of these brave decent people.

Hmm. Do I detect just the slightest sarcasm? LOL. I was trying to say that I think in years to come Obama will be embarrassed that he let that bill pass stuffed with pet projects. It never would have happened in Lincoln’s day. That’s what I was trying to say. Buffet was trying to be as diplomatic as possible when saying that. Also, he was saying that we need to hear what’s going on, not from anyone else—-reporter or pundits etc., but straight from Obama’s mouth because this should be likened to a WAR, not a crisis. And American needs to listen to, and stand behind him in wartime….That’s the jist of it… Sorry it wasn’t as clear as i thought I had written before.

Rick Sanchez played the entire back and forth between the two a couple hours ago on CNN. Very funny. Did you see the clip of Cramer on GMA with Meredith Vierra on a split screen so we could see his reaction to JS’s comments? His final reaction was that everything was down and if they played clips of Warren Buffet back then he would look like an idiot too! He does have a point, but at least Warren has the confidence to admit when he’s made errors.

Hi Elizabeth. I agree. I only came tot his thread to point out once again, that this woman is just playing a media character created by Bill Maher. And taking it to the bank too! Smart, but it is disturbing that she has a following of people who see her brnd as truth much the same way Stewart or Colbert. We are all in deep trouble if people get their "news" mainly from these comedic personas. TTo appreciate or enjoy their take on things or find what they say resonates with us is one thing, but to ferociously defend them and create icons from them is unconscionable.

I totally agree with Warren Buffet on the earmark issue. He is one of Obama’s biggest supporters. Did anyone see him on CNBC for three whole hours yesterday? Can you imagine if previous Presidents stuffed pet projects in an historic document like the ones signed in the past to help get America moving forward again?

He refers to this crisis as a WAR. Just like Pearl Harbour. Just like WW2. In wartime the only person you need to listen to is your Commander in Chief. Everyone else is only an opinion. But you MUST listen to your Commander in Chief.
