LOL Dorothy.  Why is it that when a woman criticizes another woman men automatically assume they’re jealous?

I for one can admit that I am jealously horrified that a no-talent, nothing to look at, raspy DNA-lovechild  modern day version of Roseanne Barr and Joan Rivers, can be worth 10 million a year now. 

Jealous might be second on the list.  Bewildered is more like it. Sorry.  This is one show I will miss.  

I think this woman is smarter than we all think.  Look at all the attention she has generated.  Publicist.  Agent. Dr. Phil.  Oprah. And reinventing herself within American pop culture means that attention and notoriety = $$$$$.  She’ll be just fine.  One smart cookie. I bloody well hope I am right so not one of those 14 kids suffers from anything other than any normal child of 14 would. Cough cough.

Oh I forgot one more HUGE tip.  The exciting thing about WOW is knowing the possibility that the Masthead icons are actually listening and responding to the posters comments.  You can just see the posters who get a response beaming and thrilled that they were recognized.  I know that every time I was chosen for comment of the week I was so excited that someone cared about my comment.  It made me try harder, and feel valued at the same time. 

If you "Mastheaders" could all take a little more time to respond to posters on each thread it might clean up the language, and also increase your posts per thread in a healthier more long lasting way than simply going for the vitriolic quantitative angle by baiting us into negativity.

I have been here since April 15.  I have watched you go through all your growing pains.  I think in "WOW years" you are still a gawky teenager with acne!  No explanation needed. 

Progress has a price.  I wonder if Mary’s comments that"We’re going to make billions!" on Charlie Rose have come true yet.  I was happier here learning from every possible type of woman out there without the influx of the Coulterites- the followers of that media persona created by Bill Maher.

 However from a commerce standpoint creating more controversial articles they knew would generate polarities I suspect it made the numbers rise significantly which equals dollar revenues in web-speak.  So maybe at the expense of quality they got the quantity of posts that helped get their profits up.  Not sure whether to congratulate them on that or not.  

If you are asking for tips for Year Two, I would say create more headers and regular articles on science / innovations / health/ alternative medicine / art.  Things we can LEARN and stretch our minds over and grow from. I have almost stopped  learning on WOW lately.  And I have not been coming here much because I get a heaviness n my heart to find women fighting.  And I hate feeling like I have to jump in a join the fist fight sometimes- to defend some truly wonderful smart, caring people I’ve seen on here for months!

I liked Liz Peek’s articles until she showed that she was part of the problem by making inflammatory digs at Obama.   You really all need to stand in a long line together and support each other and your President.  The world is depending on it for survival right now.  I was really disappointed at Liz’s Nobama reference.  It lacked substance and smacked of baiting posters into negativity once again.

 Find ways to come together to avoid disintegrating into chaos.  I’d like to see what Peggy Rometo has to say about America’s chart.  Countries have astrology charts too.  

That’s all for now.  The sun just came out!   And in Vancouver when that happens everybody goes outside and looks upward for the Messiah to appear in the parting clouds. LOL.

Isn’t that the definition of insanity.  Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.  Hence Rush being touted as a leader… they have all finally gone insane!  They want more tax cuts, and less gov’t.  Isn’t that a stuck record that is proven failure? LOL.
