I se your point Marina. But it says “Jewish” not Israeli. I realize Israel is a multi-faceted mosaic state much like Canada. But if that’s the case, why did the author select the word Jewish in the headline-which refers to a faith-based group of people rather than a state. So I took that information verbatim and interpreted it in my own way. All I am saying IMHO is that the conservative base of Jews living in Israel or elsewhere will not be happy about the exposure of this girl on the cover if she is indeed Jewish. May I suggest that some folks are missing the point? I think the point was that Israel now has Sports Illustrated. I think this notion speaks to the evolution of a people, a culture, in an area that would be normally alot more conservative and protective of its women. Coovered hair / modesty etc. are NOT part of Sprots Illustrated. Get it? This is not just a topic about another thin tall gal who dates Leo. Lots of models who are Jewish have been cover girls or swimsuit models since time began. I hope they are not going to demand that every cover girl has to be Jewish or Israel-born. Love to see a gorgeous Persian girl on the cover too. Now that would be news!

Ah…..nice. Well my beach had icy shite sleet balls all over it today. It went away. then more fell around dog walking time. And more tonight. My new daffodils will survive though. Its not sticking!

We cant wait to see what happens up here too! We are taking quite a hit to our economy…mostly non-confidence issues that are bringing everything to a slow crawl up here. Very disconcerting. Can’t wait to see if he can do what he wants.
