I agree, there is nothing more refreshing than swimming on a hot summer day.

I HATE wearing a bathing suit. You know I sometimes go by the pool and I see women that look much worse than I do wearing the smallest two piece bathing suits. I always ask myself, "how the hell can these woman have the confidence to wear such suits"? I love to swim but I barely make it out of the dressing rooms because I hate the way I look in a bathing suit.

However, I think I have made and improvement because for like 8 years I talked myself into the believing the idea that I hated to swim. All for the sake of not getting in a bathing suit. This year was the first time in a long time I was able to overcome that fear and rediscover my love for swimming. Yes, it is still hard to walk out of the dressing rooms but I do not let picture perfect bodies of girls, and woman walking around in their string bikinis keep me from enjoying something I have always loved. I guess for right now that is good enough for me.

Judy, I thought the same thing; however, having had cancer 3 times. I can tell you that if I ever got cancer again I would not do a thing. The treatments are horrible.

I’m a feminist-have been for a long time- was a women’s studies minor in college. I think the main question here is can a feminist be pro-life. The answer is, yes, but only as an individual. Pro-choice people are for choice, so if you choose to never have an abortion, that is fine, your choice. If for some reason you need the choice of being able to have an abortion, that is also fine. The thing about being a feminist is that she/he can’t support legislation that makes this choice for you.

As for Dr. Tiller, I think it is so sad. A pro-lifer killing a person, now that is an oxymoron.

I am a cancer survivor and I was really skinny when I was going thru treatment. Then I got some chemo drug, I can’t remember the name, and it made me get huge and I became so swollen, maybe she is on a similar drug. I think your question was legitimate. So this maybe one reason. I guess it would depend when the picture was taken.
