I have met some guys who are feminists and are great. However, there are very few. A long time ago I heard scientist are working on being able to take marrow from women and make it into a sperm. If this happens we will not need men to make babies. I see how one could think that one would have to be a lesiban to be a true feminist. However, I don’t think that is true. Oh men… somtimes they make me so mad. However, there are women that behave just like men and they make me as mad as the men.

Yes, I absolutely think one can be a feminist and have children. Why not? Even guys can be feminists. I don’t have any children but I think the job of a mother is the most important job anyone can have. If it wasn’t for mothers and teachers I don’t know where we would be, their jobs are way under payed. I’m involved with SWE (Society of Women Engineers), the V-day movement, I also do some work with the Children’s Defense Fund, and a couple other small organizations. Know I have a question for you, why are you asking me these questions?

Well, since they are having boy girl twins the idea of older women having twins fits because identical twins come from one egg. However, IVF also fits because most IVF multiples are not identical.

Yes, it most certainly does give me a sense of purpose that I did not have before. I was watching a video on the violence against women that occurs in the republic of Congo. The video triggered a sense of compassion that I always had within me but never really showed to others. I’m a die hard feminist, and even though externally the women looked completely different from me, I saw myself in each one of them. I know that we don’t get to pick where or to whom we are born. So… I knew that that could have been me. I have to say that my feminism has had a lot to do with a lot of the discoveries I have made in my life. Feminism is not only about my liberation and the effect sexism has on my life; it is about a group of people and as long as their liberation is in jepordy, I have to care and be on guard for not only my sake but for the sake of all women. See how it is connected? I would not be able to say that I’m a feminist if I did not care for others. And, yes, it has been a great discovery that has given my life a lot of depth.

How strong I am and how much I care about people. I have always been a loner but I have discovered that I really care and have an intrest in all people.

Frank, I too went to a same sex high school only it was all girls. And yes at first it was a shock because I also came from a coed grade school and only have brothers. Your a teacher, right? What do you teach?
