My Comments (141 so far…)

What is the best advice your dad ever gave you?

Maggie, I love your comment about what Freud would say lol. I think despite the reason or cause of the success of a woman Freud would say it was all because of penis envy. By success I do not mean what he meant which was that women should stay home and have boy babies because that was the closest she was going to get to having a penis. He was quite an interesting guy.

How much wine do you drink daily?

Wine, I would have to say wine is my one and only weakness. I love wine!

What gadget invented in the past ten years can't you live without?

My computer is a part of me. i can live with out tv and without my cell phone but my computer is my ap pendage. When I sleep it sleeps next to me. I have been known to wake up in the middle of the night and send emails or write stuff. It provides me with entertainment and education and it allows me to wander for hours into many things I can’t even imagine. I love my computer. Maybe I should write it a ode. However, for young people I think the cell phone has become a part of them. I always see them texting, even while driving. I think I have only sent like two texts in my whole life. I really do not understand it.

What were you told a 'real lady' had to do?

Hum, coming from a girl who was a tomboy the list is forever long. My mother always told me how I need to be more like a lady. When she corrected me she never told me don’t do that she always said a lady doesn’t do that. I gave her a hard time growing up because I always march to the beat of my own drum.

'wOw Friend' Judith H. Dobrzynski: 'A Moment So Sublime That My Eyes Start to Water'

I feel like I don’t cry enough. I know that may sound crazy but I have never cried during a movie or a song or even during some hard times in my life. I sometimes wish I could cry with ease because it builds up and then I explode. I went to an all girl high school and sometimes everyone was crying and I would just stand there and in college I was in a sorority and the same thing occured. So I have often felt left out because I don’t cry.
