FYI, my husband sent in that picture. Does it really matter what gender I am?

You guys are cracking me up!! Mugsy, I’m sorry I had to zap a previous limerick you wrote, as per Joni’s instructions. As I’ve told you before, please don’t shoot the messenger! My choice for famous person — tough one. Two choices come to mind, Lucille Ball and Johnny Carson. But, I can’t leave out Cary Grant or Spencer Tracey. However, non-famous is a no-brainer. My parents, who I miss more and more with each passing day.

If I did, I would have to delete myself! ;)

Hi Dabney, I’m sorry I can’t answer that one for you. Feel free to write in to the site’s mailbox and Tom our tech genius can explain it.

Dear Mugsy, I forwarded your comment (which has since been zapped) to Joni, who expressed concern and surprise and requests that you desist from abusive or demeaning language on the site. She thinks perhaps it would be a good idea for us to delete your comment, as it is not worthy of you and inappropriate for the site. Please don’t shoot the messenger.

I agree, that would be my dog Goldstein. You can see her in the latest installment of pet photos! :)

Dear Erica, Please know that I totally agree with you and the above-referenced comment has been forwarded to Joni and the others behind the scenes. It is ultimately their call as to what can be deleted or not. As of now, I’m only allowed to say “please refrain from STFU” in future comments. Believe me, it’s as frustrating to me as I’m sure it is to you. I’m trying very hard to keep the integrity of this site intact. Your comments are most appreciated and welcome.

Hi Linda, I am still here. The thread to our conversation has been deleted only because of the “spammer” Steven Lee, who started this mess to begin with. It’s a technical issue with the site, but if I have to delete anything inappropriate, all responses to the original post get deleted as well. Thanks so much for standing behind me. It is deeply appreciated.

Sorry Frannie, my daughter has dibs on the tiara. She’s actually Asian (we adopted her at 11 months), she’s 12 now and speaks very little Chinese. However, I don’t think she would be the best choice for lessons!

As monitor of this site, I am asking you to please refrain from using the term “STFU” in any of your future comments. Thank you.
