Hi Mugsy, I don’t have a badge or anything. I told Joni I would like to be known as the “Duchess of Delete” and since Tiffany’s is one of our sponsors, I thought I could get a tiara out of the deal. Something simple, diamonds, of course, maybe a sapphire or two. However, it can’t be too heavy or my head will fall through the computer. So far, she hasn’t gotten back to me on that. My Alias, Thank you so much for your kind words. This week has been especially difficult for me (not because of you!). I truly enjoy reading all the posts (okay, maybe not all), but your comments are certainly on the top of my list.

My Alias, Please accept my apology if I have offended you in anyway. The way this site is set up (on my end), I don’t know where my comments will be. This was not aimed at you directly, but to all our posters in general. I’m sure if you have been reading other threads on this site, you will know to whom I am referring. However, my “power” to delete is only for those with “trigger fingers” who hit the submit button one too many times. Joni has the final say in what can be deleted. On a personal note, I do read every one of these comments. And I have to say that you are one of my favorites (but please, don’t let the others know!).

I’m not saying you can’t comment or discuss anything that the two male presidential candidates have used. All I’m asking, is that you all respect each other’s opinions and keep the discussion civil.

I’m in total agreement with you, N P, about the photographs. However, I also have to say my memories. I hope and pray I never see the day when I look at pictures of my family and not recognize them.

I have never posted anything on this site before, however, your comment prompted me to do so. The founders who knew Tim Russert certainly have every right to express their sympathy, as do I. While I didn’t know him personally, he was a guest in my home every Sunday. Mr. Russert’s death didn’t happen to the founders or to me, but to everyone who admired and respected him. The bottom line is we all lost one of the “good guys” way too soon.
