I like you Joan do my best thinking at night……..but since we don’t write it down who’s to disprove it isn’t great thinking!

Some times it is so great I do get up and write like crazy.  I like a particular way I phrase something or a thought I’ve never had before.

Maybe we Night thinkers should start writing our thoughts so we could prove to the World how brilliant we are………lol

Many years ago we bought our first movie camera with sound.  I had the film developed and we sat down to watch our first home movie.  I was so pleased until I heard this strange little noise.  I asked my husband, What is that noise?  He laughed and said, "Dona, that’s you humming."

He said "You softly hum all the time honey". I didn’t realize I did that.  I tried to stop……..No WAY.

I continued on up until recently (that’s been over 30 years).

I’ve had a very bad year health wise………lots of pain, death in the family etc.  I realized I was in a state of depression when I discovered about three weeks ago that I don’t HUM anymore…..

I miss my humming.  I’ve always been a Positive Optimist!!!!!! Big time.

I don’t like this depressive state of mind.  I’m going to try to remind myself to hum……….maybe I can hum myself back to normality (I Hope)

I know I used to be happy all the time.  So humming was a good indication of my good mental health.  COME BACK HUMMING!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you ever do go……….be sure to drive out to Red Rock Canyon (about 10 miles east of the strip) as an Artist you will love the colors of the Rocks and Moutains.

I wish I had about $30,000 to blow.  I would go to Vegas and see all the shows……….eat at all the fabulous resturants and stay for about a month.  I love it when I go there.

Usually I get a Condo for a week or stay in a Hotel when they have special rates………..rent a car, eat at the Buffett’s.

It would be so fabulous to go First Class just once in a life time.

Of course this would leave nothing to gamble with……….maybe I’d allow myself $100 a day to play the slots……….lol.

 We, my (first) husband and I with our two little boys were living in a Veterans Housing project where the rent was really cheap. (This was 1955)

We bought a brand new house, in fact we were the first family to move in on the block.

It’s almost impossible to believe we only paid $12,650 for a three bedroom house with a Fireplace. Fenced in back yard for the boys to play.  I was 23 years old…….with a four year old son and a baby boy age 16 months.  I truly felt Grown up………(Later after a divorce)

I sold my first house in 1979 and upgraded into my present home.  A lovely 4 bedroom home with a swimming pool. We paid $130,000.  With some improvements it’s now worth 1 million 31 years later……….best investment I ever made.

It really made me feel like a real Grown up woman.

I remember once when I was going to Beauty School in the 60’s  (I was 32) I had bleached Blonde hair. 

I put on a Blue temporary Rinse (it actually was really beautiful) not like the old lady’s blue…..

I then wore a completely blue outfit………blue make up meaning eye’s..lipstick.

All blue.  My girl friend dressed up like a Hooker.  We made little cloth bags to wear around

our wrists filled with quarters……..When people asked us what we were.  We just laughed and

said we were 2 BIT WHORES………..Gosh that’s a fun memory.  We had so much fun that night.

Parties and nightclubs………danced our shoes off.  Of course my shoes were also blue.

Oh to be Young and Healthy again…………..

Sex with Love is the Ideal………….

It certainly isn’t necessary.  I don’t think the Human species developed

because people fell in love.

Sexual Activity is a basic instinct with or without love.  To have Sex with a loving partner is great. 

But it certainly is not necessary to be in love with one’s partner to have good sex.

I think most Sexual activity in this World is between two people who have a mutual desire,

not because they love each other.

Eye Shadow can be fun…….remember the White and blue of the 60’s…Oh my gosh I look at some old photo’s and can’t believe I thought that was pretty.  Times change.  As a rule if it looks like Too much it usually is. It would be nice to have a professional Make up Artist do one’s make up daily.

It certainly is an inexpensive way to totally change one’s looks and mood.

I think both should be legalized………taxed and controlled.

Adult Women are capable of making their own decisions.

I don’t drink alcohol…….I don’t take drugs………Non the less I think Adults should be able to decide what to ingest as long as they don’t cause harm.  Absolutely legalize marijuana.  We can use the Taxes to do wonderful things for our Citizens. 

Less Children and young adults would be in Prisons and jails.

As to Prostitution .

I’ve always heard that PROSTITUTION is the OLDEST KNOWN PROFESSION in the World.

To rise up in indignation about a moral issue that has been going on as long as there have been humans on this planet in my opinion is just plain stupid.

I doesn’t matter what Society does (and It’s tried innumerable ways) we can not control other peoples desires.

Prostitution will always be a part of human existence………

As will drugs.

We can’t change peoples impulses but we can control the situation by

TAXING and REGULATING.

Less people in Prisons………money saved right there. (Up to $40,000 a year for each inmate) Plus the fact that most young people who are arrested for marijuana are not really criminals.

Less drug related street crimes.  We’ve been trying unsuccessfully to wage a Drug War for years. Legalizing marijuana and Taxing it would be the best solution in this War.

Free up our Law enforcement agents to deal with actual criminal behaviour.

Less poor women being abused as Street Whores………

Both Vices can be taxed which would benefit all citizens.

Both could be better controlled……..creating a safer and healthier environment for all concerned.

Most Young people start with marijuana because it is illegal……The Forbidden is always an attraction.  

After all I’ve said I will just add another vote for:

Legalize and Tax both vices.

Anything with Whoopie is always a delight.

Her ability with People is amazing.  I love her humorous control when she’s a little put off…………

The way she turns and sits back with the little smirk on her face….. I love it.  My disability keeps me home a lot lately, it’s so nice to have Whoopie come into my home via The View everyday. I love her humor, but I think what I like the most about Whoopie is her intelligence.

I’m looking forward to this new show.  I hope a day doesn’t go by that I don’t have the opportunity to learn something….

I was just thinking the same thing………….tape the conversations.  At least if it ever came to a head she would have proof of his bad behaviour…I would think Sexual mis-conduct would apply  to any kind of employment.

Perhaps she could get advice from a short visit to an attorney. Use the internet to find a blog where legal advice is offered for free.  I just know if I were in this position I would first tape (I would tape several occurrences of his calls)and then figure out a clever way to use the information without endangering myself.
