I can’t believe I just read this on your post.

No, African Americans were brought to this Country in Slave Ships.  They didn’t choose to come here on a vacation.

Maybe a few come to join us now…………but not originally as you imply.

To all of you who still have your’ Parent’s May I suggest something I did at least once a year for my parents.

I wrote them a Love letter individually.

It was fun to do…………I tried to remember things from my childhood,

Sweet and lovely things they had done for me during my childhood.

Mostly I expressed my love and also let them know That I really respected and liked them a great deal.

My Mother expressed to me how she and Daddy loved re-reading my letters over the years.

Just my suggestion.

I saw a documentary a few years ago.  (I wish I could remember the name of the piece)

It stated that one out of 10 (considered white) Americans had black ancestors.

When you consider that the Old White Plantation owners used their Slaves in

any fashion they choose. I’m surprised that the percentage isn’t greater…..

I think it’s ironic that the Southern states where racism is most prevalent

are the people most likely to have black heritage in their genealogy.

In other words……….they hate themselves.

I’ve had the utmost violence committed in my family……..a daughter in law murdered…………two grandchildren kidnapped. (never to be found)

I don’t take this subject lightly or find any humor what so ever.

I also value and respect myself enough to never want to stoop to the level of the people who commit these violent acts. 

To say I’m disgusted is really not indicative of the way I really feel.

But it’s as polite a way of expressing my feelings toward the decider of this inclusion.

I’ve been complaining along with many other posters recently to the downward path Wowowow and it’s staff have taken.  What once was a wonderful, powerful, positive place for women to share thoughts and exchange Ideas.  This in my opinion and from what I’ve read so far by many other posters here today is the lowest of lows………………..

When the Market crashes you heard terrible sounds all around……..

I hear and feel a crash is eminent if things don’t radically change back to the positive on wowowow.

Please don’t disappoint all of your faithful writers……..

We will miss having a place like Wowowow to communicate.

If some smart entrepreneur is reading today, they are already creating a new and glorious place for we women.
