was beginning to think I’d lost my mind.  I said, this can’t be Phyllis writing this garbage.

It was disgusting looking out at those men all dressed like gentlemen………Acting like uneducated bullys.

They made me feel ashamed…………I wonder what the Rest of the World thought of us.

I’m sure it wasn’t good.

I put my post out to anyone who wants to read.

As a person with allergy’s I just wanted to express my views on the subject.

If we as a Society tried to isolate everything an individual might be allergic

what kind of life would any of us have.

I have allergies to animals…….kapok and feathers.  I itch all over……..difficulty in breathing.

I don’t expect other people to live their lives according to my problems.

It’s my responsibility to care for my own needs.

Over the years It’s created problems with friends.  I can’t go to their homes.

I solved this years ago by having them as guests in my home or meet at a public

place for lunches or dinners or just visits in a safe place.

About 23 years ago I had stomach surgery which created a problem with my eating.

I enjoy going out to restaurants and visiting friends for lunch or dinner.

Even tho I couldn’t eat what others were served I could always have a cup of tea or coffee

or a bowl of broth.  I still enjoyed the company of other people.  I just didn’t let it spoil my life

A child or adult with allergies needs to find their own ways to protect themselves and not expect

others to change their way of living .

In re-reading some of these Posts I just remembered a place I loved during the early 50’s………Can’t think of the name but they made 10 cent burgers………on little tiny french rolls, Hamburger with fried onions on top. Oh my god they were so good. (probably loaded with grease)

I’d go and get two bags of them for us on a weekend.  My two boys loved them.

Aren’t MEMORIES WONDERFUL?

I’m with you.  I adore Oprah.

I think she has such a positive way about her entire life…..business, or personal.

She comes from an optimistic view on most things.  She’s caring and shares her wealth

with so many people around the World.  I believe her wealth came to her because of the

inner person she is. She truly believes she has a mission on this Earth and works daily to achieve her goals.

She makes me feel good just listening to her……..her warmth could unfreeze a Mountain of ice.

What a Role Model she is to the Young women in this World.

I feel blessed to inhabit the same time and space.
