Sounds to me…The bulb is not very bright in any of the members of that group…….including the leader.

I remember my first thoughts when she drug those kids up on the platform for the World to see.

It was like thumbing her nose at the Public, big deal, my daughter got pregnant and she’s going to get

married to a High School Drop out. We’re so proud of our little family and want to share all our

behaviour with all of you. Give me a break. People who continue to defend this woman and her behavior need to get

a check up done on their own Blub……….

I agree, I’m extremely Proud of our President.

When a man sits in that position (actually the hardest job in the World) People can dislike the man but they should encourage him.  After all he is the President of the entire Country.

He has a wonderful supportive wife…….two lovely well behaved children.

We, as Americans are lucky he choose to take on this tremendous job.

With the mess President Bush left our Country in, it’s going to take some time to put us all together.  It wouldn’t matter who was sitting in that seat right now……….they would have a TOUGH job that in no way could be put right in as short a time as President Obama has been tackling the work.

I respect and admire him.  I truly hope he is able to achieve the goals he’s set forth.  I pray the Senate and Congress will give him all the help he needs to set our Country back on the right track.

One man can’t do it by himself……….it should take all Americans doing what ever we are capable of doing, to give our New President the support any President needs to succeed.

Those who fight against him are really fighting against their own entire families.

Life was so much more simple 50 years ago……….

I miss that simplicity.

Thanks for the memories…….I had my first Club Sandwich at Woolworth’s 5 and dime when I was a very small child. 

It made me feel so grown up.

Later when I was in High School, working at Woolworth’s was one of my many part time jobs.

All of the merchandise was displayed on the counter with compartments. No excess packaging in those days.

Woman would come by and pick up almost everything and never put it back where it belonged.  What a mess.

My job was to keep the Counters clean and orderly………..makes me laugh when I look back and visualize the 16 year old I was then.

I also miss the Corner Piano Bar of my 20’s……..I’m not a drinker but I loved going there so I could sing with the piano or organ.  Everyone would sing along…….so much fun and most of the regulars were people who lived in your neighbor.

As they say "THOSE WERE THE DAY"

All of these post bring back so many memories.  Thanks for a light and uplifting thread.

with mostly Shit flying in the wind I’m otta here.

It’s going to take a nice hot shower with some perfumed soap to

An intelligent President like President Obama.

Because the President we had before him GEORGE BUSH embarrassed us all around the World with

his stupidity.  He alienated us with all our former Allies.

He was an Idiot………..Our new intelligent President Obama has class and

knows that you can’t go around insulting the World and expect any help

when needed in the future.

The Republican Party is in the dumps……..if you ever listened to any legitimate news you would know this.

The Leaders of your party are worried about the party and fighting to change.

The intelligent ones don’t take anything those Right Wing idiots on Radio spew out every

day.  In fact I’m sure from things I’ve heard them say, they don’t even appreciate that kind

of garbage.  It’s detrimental to our Country as a whole.

I know we have two main Parties in this Country.

None of the Leaders of the Republican Party would go around

saying they wish harm to our standing President. As these Radio crazies do.

If that is the kind of America you want then I believe you should re-evaluate your standards.

It is shameful that they choose Liz Peek to write an article that Unions are not needed in this Country.  It’s Labor Day we are supposed to be celebrating.

I was having a discussion with several other women about this subject and I’m going to use their words to help express my disgust.

I heard someone else say that "The masthead lives in a bubble and is totally isolated from the Real World."

"These women must be oblivious to what that Website is doing because I cannot imagine some of those women pictured would not be very embarrassed to have their photos on a website promoting Liz Peek’s view of US economics.  Not even ONE THREAD CELEBRATING LABOR.  IMAGINE THAT!"

I could not have expressed my views any better………therefor I used another persons words to help me express my own.

She just said it better than I could have.

It appears to me that Wowowow has decided that becoming a RIGHT WING blog is more profitable to them.

What a SHAME………they didn’t stay with the original platform.

Wowowow used to be an interesting place to come on a daily basis to share views and ideas with other Intelligent interesting women/ a few men slipped in…..Now it seems they’ve allowed the Right Wing group to almost take over the whole Web site for their own political views.

It doesn’t seem to matter what subject is brought forth……..they change it into some kind of Political battle.  No more proper debates…….Just one battle after another.

I’ve noticed over the past three or four months most of the really good writers have disappeared.  What a shame.

I used to leave the site feeling enriched, informed and a sense of well being.  Now when I come I leave feeling irritated……..uninformed.

Mostly, just disgusted…..So much vile vicious rhetoric from people saying the same thing over and over……..not matter the subject it seems to get back to OBAMA BASHING……..They find a crack and back they come full force with their unsubstantiated lies and propaganda.

I’ve decided the only way I can comfortably continue participating in the Wowowow discussions is to by pass those kinds of posters.

Thank goodness there are still a few wonderful interesting women who have the ability to exchange views and offer information in polite and interesting ways…….often using humor to make a point……..thats fun.
