Hillary Clinton Meets With Sexual Violence Victims in Congo, Says 'My Husband Is Not the Secretary of State' (Video)
Hi Frannie,
I don’t come here too often………I get so tired of the nasty posting. I just couldn’t stand it any longer today and jumped in myself.
I’ts nice to see you.
Yes, I agree Hillary should never be underestimated. She’s a brilliant woman. We need more like her in
Our Government. Of Course people are going to try and destroy a Strong Woman….They threaten the Good Old Boys.
Hillary Clinton Meets With Sexual Violence Victims in Congo, Says 'My Husband Is Not the Secretary of State' (Video)
Deber,
I can’t believe what I just read. "It’s a lovely plan and I’m sure all of us hope it works for these women but it is way too soon to applaud something that hasn’t happened."
The reason I find it hard to believe (even coming from you ) is you were one of the Right Wingers who for the past year
defended everything George Bush did……even commending him for the War in Iraq……….You were APPLAUDING loud and clear every opportunity you got. Why don’t you try taking a mouth full of your own words and swallow them.
He was at The War in Iraq for over 8 years and we’re still there. Were those his Lovely plans for the hundreds of thousands of people who died. STAND UP AND APPLAUD, you who are so proud of that man. Something did happen there and is continuing……….but nothing good. But of course he’s a Republican so that excuses everything………RIGHT?
GIVE ME A BREAK.
One thing every single American should remember and shouldn’t have to be reminded is……..President Obama is the President of our Entire Country………Republicans, Democrats and Independent. If he fails………..SO DO WE ALL!

"Raving Lunatic"…strange words coming from a woman and her friend who act like RAVING MANIACS in
practically every subject that ever rises on this site.
One uses our flag to hide behind (as though that makes her more patriotic than other people)
The other uses a Horses ASS as her AVATAR……..that tells the story right there.
It wouldn’t matter what Hillary did……….these two women would find fault.
I often wonder if they ever actually re-read some of the stuff that flies from their finger tips onto these Web pages.
That’s my opinion for the day. As you know Phyllis, I rarely ever get into any discussion that resorts to name calling.
But after reading post after post of vile words spewing from their mouths I had to jump in.
I do not mean to offend anyone else………I am speaking directly to these two women.
Dear Margo: Saying Good-bye
I agree that Funeral’s and memorials are for the Living. To follow the deceased wishes is showing respect for them.
I also think there are ways that everyone can be pleased if enough thought is given to the situation.
I’ve had so many deaths in my family in the last 10 years…..over 17.
Almost all of them had conventional funerals.
My sister in law did not like to go to funerals so when my brother died there wasn’t a funeral. This upset my parents very much as it did me and my sister. Not even a get together. He died and was cremated and that was it…………..
My father died three weeks later broken hearted.
When my sister in law died two years later her children followed her wishes and nothing was done to celebrate neither the death or life.
I honor and respect her desires. But it’s left the rest of the family with an uneasy feeling…….Never having a chance to finalize the lives of our loved ones. It’s kind of a hollow feeling. They were here and now they’re gone…………I loved them both so much and miss them terribly.
My nephew died last week and was cremated. My sister is holding a get together in a week. She told me she didn’t want any speeches or organization………just family and friends getting together to honor her son. I said Why don’t we just call it a ‘Story telling Day’. She liked that.
I’ve written my own Obituary………it’s really a nice feeling leaving a little message to each one of my loved ones to hear and have after I’m gone.
I’ve requested to have it read at my funeral.
As to the letter #2.
I think the young woman writing for advise should recognize that she’s showing some maturity by expressing her disapproval of the actions of the so called friend………those kind of friends she doesn’t need.
This man should be turned into the authorities.
I wonder how her boyfriend and she might feel if something tragic happens at one of these teenage get together’s and they could have prevented it by reporting the situation to the Authorities.

Diana T,
Thanks, I need a big laugh……….they are hilarious.

Will you take – or are you already taking – advantage of the benefits of being a senior?
I’m especially going to enjoy the Senior Discount this next week.
I’m having Oral Surgery and My Dentist gives a 20% discount to Seniors. That’s a big help to me since I don’t have insurance.
I enjoy getting a 10% discount at Restaurants……it helps pay my Tip.
I’ve enjoyed every age……..Each year I’m grateful, I just hope to have as many as possible.

Sybil,
Thanks for the laugh………I needed that.
Is getting your hair done a chore or a treat?
Hi Eileen,
During my working days…….I had one big rule for my hairdressers.
Let your client talk……….keep your personal business to yourself.
Part of the experience women enjoy is having someone to listen to them when their having their hair done.
If asked questions (which most women seem to do) answer but don’t share all the negative stuff about your life.
My people found they made much larger tips when they behaved in a very professional manner.
Is getting your hair done a chore or a treat?
B Clark,
In my twenties I used Henna on my hair. I used to mix the compound with a cup of coffee instead of water. It added a little different touch………..
Is getting your hair done a chore or a treat?
Caren,
As a retired cosmotoligist I will tell you that there are a lot of women who spend tons of money to have the color you have naturally. I love the color of your hair. Personally I hate seeing women who dye their white hair and have that orangey look.
You are an exceptionally beautiful woman……….You should be looking in the mirror every day and say HOORAY…..
A tip about being kept waiting in a Salon.
First of all, when you make your appointment inform the receptionist that you have another appointment elsewhere
right after you hair appointment and You absolutley can not be kept waiting.
If given the choice of losing a customer, the beautician will adjust her/his schedule
to accomadate you. Be sure to make this clear when making your appointment.
Dear Margo: When Three Is Not a Crowd
I wonder if the woman with the Porno addicted husband has ever tried to join him in his watching……………Perhaps her presence would distract him. If this is something he wants to do strictly alone then I would be more concerned…Just my thought. I think I’d try that before I called it quits. She might even learn somethings that would make their sex life better.
What ever she does, I wish her luck in her future life.
The Blessings – and Curse – of Costco, by Jean Chatzky
One other thing I like about Costco……
Their Return policy.
They will take back almost anything you are not pleased with.
If you don’t have the receipt they will give you a store credit.
Dear Margo: The Prejudice of Snobbism
As to letter # 2……..There are kind ways of informing your fellow worker that the subject of her grandchildren is not always welcome to her fellow workers….I certainly don’t think it’s necessary to be rude.
Obviously this relationship with her grandchildren is what makes her life worthwhile. The relationship between grandmothers and grandchildren is a special one.
In fact I think too much information about any one subject with your fellow workers can get monotonous…..I personally hate having to listen to all the dog and cat stories some people are always talking about.
Just my opinion….
Moms Battle for Right to Breast-Feed in Public. Tell Us What You Think
Again R.J.B. Reed,
I’m an older woman who still appreciates the wisdom of some of our Young Women……..You most assuredly are one of those Young women.
Yes, some of us do gain wisdom with age………but not always. I see older women often that I would not consider Wise………
